Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, live in Sydney 2012
Sound mix on this show is outstanding.

My picks would be:
1988.12.07 - Nakano Sunplaza, Tokyo, Japan
1987.10.08 - Hammersmith Odeon, London, England

The feeling I get, as a fan, is like watching some sport and your team is losing with only few minutes left - but you still have this little idea that "they still can turn it around".

Seems like it's not on youtube anymore. Expected.

Aint going down at whisky is already on TouYubeUploader has some great pictures and uploads in his batch. 4th GN'R's rehearsal with Rob Gardner and Tracii Guns seems interesting - has this been around before?

Axl sounds good on Shadow of Your Love.

^ I was thinking the same thing!

Complete video from the first AFD lineup show (June 6, 1985); first (raw) mix of UYI... content of the MSL's emails - just kidding.
Recordings from 1995/96, but I guess that stuff is without vocals.

That was a great finale! Seems like an end of the series (I know there is a season 3 coming)...
Another great hallway sequence in the Star Wars universe.

Classic AC/DC... Phil's drum track is the same on every song.
I'd say the album is a lot like Rock or Bust. Great rock 'n' roll album, but without any timeless hit.

Shit, I don't even know which song is this... just, blank.

Well, they are going to release this:
"Hear the Stones better than you’ve heard them before! Out on June 26 are break-outs of individual LPs from the half-speed master boxset ’Studio Albums Vinyl Collection 1971-2016’. Every album was remastered & cut at revelatory Half-Speed at Abbey Road Studios from vinyl specific original tape transfers, designed to get the very best possible sound from the format...
Each album is pressed on heavyweight 180-gram black vinyl - pick your albums of choice for pre-order here: https://therollingstones.lnk.to/Half-Speed-Masters " -
That was awesome!

Apparently they are compressed and watermarked. The fans are querying why they didn't put a lot of that stuff out with the Let it Bleed re-release.
There was a "dial tone-ish" sound, but nothing that can't be edited out. And the quality of live recordings is so-so... bootleg quality (NYC MSG sounds decent).

No. But how would one go about obtaining this?
Maybe will you find more info (*cough*links*) on IORR forum... check the "New ABKCO copyright releases" thread.

Not exactly about touring... but has anyone been listening to short-lived "69RSTRAX"?

A lot of great stuff from 1969 was (officially?) released for 24 hours on youtube, then taken down. Stuff like 22min long choir sessions for You Can't Alyways Get What You Want, Wild Horses with strings and glass harmonica, bluesier version of Love in Vain (similar to Robert Johnson's version), Madison Square Garden shows (1969.11.27. and 1969.11.28.), etc. etc.

^yep, today I don't care too much about the story. But the film has some strong moments when your heart just broke a little - like Chewie's reaction when Leia dies. Or seeing Han Solo (thank god he is not shown as a force ghost).

Based on leaks I wasn't expecting much - better said, I was sure this film will suck (big time). But I just saw it and... wow. Liked it pretty much. Visually is great, music is outstanding. They really throw too much at you at the same time, but it's been a ton of (good or bad) material since 1977 and to make a closure is pretty hard job to do. I wasn't disappointed at all!
Chewie finally got his medal! And was used much more in this film as in The Last Jedi where he just does nothing. Also, my favorite scene... at the very end when Poe kinda gives "the look" to his ex-girlfriend(?) and she is just
"nope". Ok then...And, um... was the kiss really necessary?

Great episode!

Saw it today... great film. A runtime was unexpected but it's far from being boring.
Happy birthday Steven Adler.

I've been listening a lot of bootlegs from 1986-1988 lately (haven't done that in a while)... he really was a huge part of their sound and attitude. Happy birthday Steve!
