In the cinema I wasn't very impressed. Second watch at home I very much enjoyed it! I think once I accepted it didn't live up to my expectations it was easier to enjoy. I'm a big fan of the franchise so I'm grateful for the chance to see Indy one last time. Give it another watch if it didn't work for you first time around, you might enjoy it better then too.

I find it very curious, there is no scene in the video of Axl, Slash and Duff relaxing, chatting or just hanging out, they are only seen together when they are on stage.

Good point but what I also found strange was the lack of dolphins and Axl jumping into the sea. We need a new overproduced blockbuster movie video with full on fan service please 😂

Sounds like a beginner guitar solo IMO, not really like Slash overall. I’ve seen fan made solos for the song which sound more like Slash to me for example. Because it’s so simple but also strange, and rather low octave compared to the opening and I think better suited higher key bend from the old solo, I think it kills rather than builds the momentum of the song. It doesn’t sound very well thought out or dynamic. I expected and I do think most fans would have preferred a momentum building Estranged style epic solo that would have lifted the song into epic status with it. I guess it seems a bit lazy/below Slash’s capabilities. Perhaps shit is a strong word, but I expected more from Slash on this.

I agree with this. Wanted a wow moment. His verse riffin is major improvement.

I love Slash as a guitar player. I really do. He’s my favourite of all time. He makes the guitar speak when he wants to. His sense of melody and feeling is unmatched. With all that in mind, I think it’s fair to say, the Perhaps solo is shit. 

There is SOME (thin gruel but still SOME) evidence that Atlas might be on the way. At the start of the tour, Fortus posted a photo of his pedals on social media. One was a sitar type thing. A fan commented 'For Pretty Tied Up?' and he replied 'Yes, and for something you don't know about'. Could be intro for Atlas. Can't find the post to screenshot sorry.
