Oh. Well the 2 songs from last year could've been considered flops and low sales but they don't seem to really care. It just needs proper promotion, that's all.

    Or does it?

    It’s out. I enjoy it.

The reworked releases won’t be for everyone..especially the fans that literally buy tickets to hear sweet child & November Rain. I think the technique is just get them out for the fans (like us) that want to hear them and try to minimise the tabloid crap.

You have to remember there’s a dichotomy between what hard core fans want and the casual fan.
My guess is if an album was released and the next tour was advertised as a direct promotion for that album it would actually have a negative effect on ticketsales..

Its why so many big acts just don’t bother anymore.

My source confirmed that the double-EP (CD leftovers and cover songs from 2016-present) isn't a part of UYI release but will be announced around the same time. Axl pushed for it and it was a concession the lable had to make in order to cash in on the past.

Edit: but this is gnr, so who the hell knows....

I mean this seems like a logical move.
The slightly strange release tactic of the last two songs would indicate a want to get things out without too much fanfare..

Drop the news of Use Your Illusions box set and randomly drop some new songs..Make some profit off the new songs with a physical release & exclusive options for the fan club 2023.

This would all lend itself nicely to another year of touring…2023 dates I’m sure will be announced at the end of the year when peoples fan club subscription is due.

Have watched more of this, I’ve been a staunch defender of Axl in recent years but he does not sound good here, in any way. As I said earlier, he did proclaim to be sick, so that is a mitigating factor. Was reminiscent of London night 2, but worse. I think it was a struggle for him throughout.

    What a crowd though.

I was at london both nights and I can testify he was much worse London night 2 than this.

I’m actually loving watching this performance. Sure the vocal isn’t his best but he’s giving it his all and the band sound amazing.

You know the guy is 60. You can’t turn the clock back. In comparison to some other singers (Jon Bon Jovi for example) he’s actually fairing pretty well.

When you’re in your 20’s and doing weird & wonderful things with your voice..you’re not thinking “how will I do this when I’m drawing out my pension”.

His voice is still there at points. Let’s just hope we get more studio work at some point.

To critique him after every show is a waste of time.
