Best one imo is the St. Louis show. I would've been upset had I gone to some other show and got one of the other designs as they all seem so weak. I feel I got lucky with St. Louis lol

I like Colorado a bit more then St Louis. Neither of which I'd go out of my way to get, but not terrible. Little Rock however... I'm not sure what anyone could see in that design.

  2. I love CD so much. I dug the vision, the journey, and most importantly the songs.  I would kill to hear Axl, Slash, and Duff record together again, but not at CD 2's expense.

I know I'm in the minority, but it bums me out to think that songs Axl at one point may have deamed finished, may be added to or "enhanced" by Slash and Duff in an effort to make the new album a better reflection of the current players and more commercially viable.

There is no way if CD 2 was put out without any touches of Slash and Duff, with the current lineup touring, it would get a fair shake. I'd be afraid all the goodwill that Axl has built up over the last couple of years would be undone.

People would give him so much shit that they wouldn't give the music a fair shake, and wouldn't have any respect for his artistic integrity. It's these reasons that would have me hedge a guess that if CD 2 ever comes out it will be a mix of Bucket, Bumble, and Slash. And I can hear it now with the people saying that only the Slash songs are good.

My best case dream scenario is possibly getting a new album from the current lineup, and then maybe a version of the untouched CD2 as something to tide the hardcore fan base over.

Hopefully I'm wrong but I'm not confident we'll see him on this leg.

Has anyone asked him about whether he's submitted anything for this leg? I'm sure he can't confirm if he is "the guy" for any specific show, but he might give a simple yes or no if someone asks him if he's made any submissions for upcoming shows.

This guy has three for sale on ebay and is using the same photo for all three auctions.  The picture is of #194, which I own unless mr. poster numberer guy accidentally numbered more than one with #194. That's possible I guess.  I was at the St. Louis show and bought mine in person so I know my #194 is authentic.  I've got no beef with people buying these up and selling them, that's just part of the game of life.  If something underhanded is going on and people are getting a high quality reproduction instead of the real McCoy... that irks me.

I sent a casual message asking what poster number this auction was for:

Someone send him a message about one of these two and see what he says.

He told me he had numbers 190 -193 for me to pick from.

  5. I got to tell you if it ends up being true I'm not stunned.

From the second I heard that the reunion was happening I kind of figured that the time was probably winding down. When Axl agreed to get back with Slash and Duff he had to know how combustible it could have been. He had to know that it all could have fallen apart inside of six months easy! And he also had to know that there was no way he could ever go back out on tour with another version of this band, and have any measurable success after Slash and Duff made their returns.

So knowing that and taking it into consideration I think he probably made peace with the fact that this could very well be his last go-around. Now that it's went well why not squeeze it for all its worth? But if it went the other way, which it very well could have, can you under any circumstances see the public be accepting of another version of "nu-guns"?

Axl is a smart dude. He worked SO hard to legitimize the other lineups, it would be impossible to try and rebuild something like that all over again. Especially at his age. It was an insurmountable task when he was 40, let alone now. I just can't imagine him trying to summon the type of energy necessary to sway popular opinion again.

So if this is the end and he's going out on top, with a ton of dough so he never had to go out and work again...god bless.

You gotta stop using the app, man. It's not showing you which ones that sold via Best Offer. One sold for 200, one sold for 175, the other 3 were sold using "Best Offer" and seeing as they were listed at 210, 210 and 235 I'm gonna get they probably didn't go for over 200.

Seeing as how they were only listed today and it's not as if they were lingering for days on end with no bids do you think it's super realistic that the sellers took that much less then they were asking for?

In any case whether they paid $200 or just under $200 I'm still surprised. It's a shitty looking litho with a relatively reasonable production run. I think it gives us a window into what to expect with these moving forward. And if last year's NA tour is any indication,  don't buy them off of eBay right now. The price will most likely down and you'll be able to find these in a month or two for half the price.
