Did I miss were it was confirmed that GNR has fulfilled it's obligations with universal/geffen?

There is some severe disfunction in the way this band handles websites. I mean why couldnt they have uploaded the rest of the records and descriptions with that one? What, is a pothead jr high kid their web designer? It is unprofessional and I almost think that it is an attempt of some kind of strange joke to never hacve a proper website or band photo..... This is fucking weird.

You know, initially I would say a tie, between GNR and RHCP.

But lately, Ive really been listening to all the RHCP records and reaaaaally digging them.

Also I have become more and more frustrated with GNR's lack of output.....

So as of now, mos def RHCP FTW!

This is crunch time for the GNR, IMO.....for the fans and for members of the band...

There will be no new music in the next two or three years, IMO.

The way Axl talks, he feels Chinese just came out and would even consider releasing a video for songs of that record.

Also, the closer that this lineup gets, the more likely that the old material will never come out, because Axl may want to release an album strictly with current members.

I totally see where the OP is coming from and it could very well be the reason.

The problem is, the longer he waits, the more likely the current members are to leave due to lack of forward progression.

If I cry because Axl is turning 50 I'm immediately committing myself......

I think those songs were Axls " opening statements" to the world to begin his comeback and were specifically picked as a message to fans, ex girls and bandmates, and a curious general public. I think those songs leaked when they where being finished for whatever reason and the other cd songs were intentionally held out for future releases.
