Axl Open To GNR Hall Of Fame Reunion

The singer won't rule out joining his former bandmates at Cleveland event

Axl appeared on That Metal Show on VH1 in the US on Friday night and he said that he had reconnected with former guitarist Izzy Stradlin, and that he hoped to do more shows with former bassist Duff McKagan in the future after they reunited in London last year.

In terms of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction he said "I don't know what it means in terms of me with the old band and the old lineup. If we were to be invited, I don't know what they would ask of me. It's up in the air."

Is this the right "translation" from the media on what Axl said? Is really Axl left an open door for hall of fame or just they trying to make fake hopes??

I dont know if nobody still cares about this band after Tarja Turunen fired from them,they are realising their new album called imaginaerum and the first single/video clip is already out called storytime.I dont like Annette Olzon on vocals much,she has a completely different voice and style fron Tarja and this is bad for the Live Concerts cause he cant even catch the operatic moments of the songs and the high notes,i saw some clips live in youtube and i have to say that i was dissapointed,she was sounded awful and weird in some songs,her style in the scene and the way she sings reminds a pop-country style that doesnt fits well to Nightwish. :unsure: I dont know if tuomas and the other guys wanted to change so much the direction of the vocals but i think Annette was not the best choice to replace a recognizable frontwoman like Tarja.(Not that i liked much tarja high notes,the opposite,i didnt liked ever much the "aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh aaaaaahhhhh" operatic parts of Tarja..)

As for the single,video seems little shitty but song i have to say i liked it somehow,i'm curious to hear the rest of the album to judge the result.

You cannot blame Lou Reed for this entirely, take away his vocals, the music and riffs is sloppy and all over the place, it's like teenagers who have been inspired by Metallica forming their first band, musically.

I didn't liked the interview at all,ok yeah Axl was funny,jokes and laughs but all that with actually no sense,a bit dissapointed cause he didnt said something new, but at least it was funny.

The album is so boooooring,Reed's singing here its booooring too,some good rifs from 'tallica the only positive.

Axl stole Hulk's moustache,thats a big reason for a DEATH MATCH,just Axl needs some time to the gym before that.

When you trying to sing Estranged after all these years for the first time and you dont even have done one god damn rehearsal,its very logical your perfomance to be not the best.Thats what i saw,if you saw a phenomenal Estranged doesnt mean we all saw it in that way.
