I would. They've clearly got more money than sense so perhaps might drop me some cash?
Yeah but they probably made that money cooking meth.

Can only speak for myself of course, but I have never seen anyone wearing these things.
If anyone spots these items 'out in the wild' they should definitely take photos for here......
I'm not sure I'd want to run into the type of people who'd wear this.

The thought did cross my mind that maybe this year Fernando got a tie dye set for his birthday. Just a wild guess though.

So, I've noticed a strong focus shift on the GnR merch store towards tie-dye (and similar design) track suits and hoodies. Do you guys think this is because GnR thinks their entire fanbase are trailer trash?
Just some example of clothes that will definitely make you the flyest motherfucker in the trailer park:

And the rain was like a few inches high on the stage; they were sweeping it up. It was almost as high as the top of the pedal boards. I remember pyro was misfiring. It was that wet that it was just crazy. And I remember trying to play on the fretless guitar, and my fingers were so pruned up, my skin was so… And I couldn't… It was like trying to play on a wet balloon — trying to push through it all; everything's soaked."
He continued: "There was this lovely girl in the front row that had a 'Star Wars' stormtrooper helmet that she was holding. And I said, 'Yeah, give me the helmet,' and I figured I would put it on and play with it on for a bit. So, I got the helmet, and I put it on my head, and as soon as it touched my cheeks, it's like it fused to it, 'cause my skin, everything was so wet. And I remember just saying, 'Oh, shit.' And as soon as I said the 'S' curse, everything just fogged up and now it's, like, 'All right, I have this helmet that is gonna take a little bit of effort to remove.' And that's not good when you're trying to play guitar in a song. And I can't see anything; it's completely fogged up. And the iconic solo [to 'Welcome To The Jungle'] that I had to play was about to come up and it was, like, the opening of the show and everything, and it's, like, 'Oh god. This is not gonna work out well.' So if I remember right, I managed to get the helmet up at least like over my eyes and keep it there. And then I think I nodded, like, 'Ah, good.' And it flopped right back down. So, it got to one point, like halfway through the solo, where I just had to stop playing and pull this helmet back so I could see what I was doing. And those few seconds that I stopped playing, he next day I got hundreds — hundreds — of furious e-mails from Brazilians, saying how I like destroyed their life and death threats and all this stuff. And to this day, 12 years later, every once in a while someone will send me an e-mail with a screenshot of me wearing that helmet, saying, 'Ha ha ha.'"
"COME TO BRAZIL!" they said.
It'll be fun, they said.

This might be the most KISS thing that KISS has ever done.
I couldn't imagine ever going to a hologram show myself though. I might be wrong, but I doubt it could ever feel real or organic to me in the way a concert would.
I couldn't see myself going to a KISS show either, but that's besides the point.

if you think the band is shit then maybe people should stop spending their time and money in general on them and find other hobbies? i don't understand the obsession on shitting on something you don't like anyway and then complain about it on a fan forum. it's like me buying a taylor swift album and then complaining on a fan forum how shit the music and the merch is
That's not the issue. Some people have less to spend than others, so for some $15 might be a lot of money. And then there's shipping too. So people might spend their money on this thinking it's the only way to get it, only to discover later they didn't have to because it's put on streaming anyway. None of that has anything to do with thinking the band is shit or not.

The second half of the list is much harder than the first half.
My problem exactly! We have the same top 5 (aside from order), but the second half is where it gets hard.

Might seem like an odd question for some, but it really annoys me that the whole Perhaps/The General thing was presented as vinyl-exclusive. But then when everyone has ordered the vinyl they still announce a CD version (Japen only, but still) and now all signs are pointing towards it turning up on Spotify soon. Which means that GnR is blatently lying to their fanbase about "exclusives" just to sell more crap. That doesn't sit right with me. Anybody feel similar?

Im trying to make sense of a top 10 of sorts. But it's impossible.
Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile On Main St. and Some Girls are still (in no particular order) my top 5.
The other half of my top 10 definitely has Hackney Diamonds in it. As well as Aftermath (UK), Out Of Our Heads (UK) and Goats Head Soup. But I can;'t decide in what order because they're so different.
And I still have no idea what my #10 would be. Probably either Tatoo You, Steel Wheels or It's Only Rock And Roll.

That’s what these songs serve as. A news cycle bump. These songs were released half way and towards the end of the tour. We seem to get 2 of them per leg.
It looks like these songs were part of their promotion obligation with the promoter. Nothing more, nothing less. Repurposing what’s available and Axl doesn’t have to to do press. They make more $ off of negotiating a deal with live nation to drip these out every leg than what Spotify and some physical sales would produce
Maybe if they come together to write an album’s worth of songs, it will be different next time
Oh damn. That's a depressingly realistic theory.

Since we're doing a love fest, I really want to join in. This is their best album since Some Girls for me. And that means it's their best in 45 years. Let that sink in. That's a longer period than many bands even existed. I actually went back through their discography album for album to see which one would top this for me. These guys are in their 70's and 80's and have had a 60+ year career. This is not only more than anybody could realistically expect from the Rolling Stones, but this is more than most Stones fans could hope for. There are a ton of homages to their past, every Stones trope they've used during their career and it's still a very fresh sounding album. The energy, the flow, it's just really great. Sweet Sounds Of Heaven is the top song and instant love. It holds up even compared to their absolute peak from the late 60's and early 70's. This is the kind of song nobody could have expected they had left in them. But the rest of the album is quality accross the board as well without a single dud in there (for me at least). Some were instant love, some were growers, but damn they're good! I'm insanely happy about this album.

It would be a bad thing for me. I wouldn't like them to hire Desmond Child type writers to write generic radio friendly songs for them just to have new music. I'd really take more Absurd's over that
I'm not so sure he wouldn't call Izzy if he got seriously into the process of making new music.
The real question is whether Izzy would be interested. Assuming that money is the main reason he didn't join the reunion to begin with... There's more money in touring than in albums these days. So I don't see the motivation for Izzy at all. Even if they'd throw a big chunk of money at him now, I doubt he would.
5 hours ago, Rindmelon said:We know there is Izzy stuff that's unreleased for gnr, probably wouldn't need to work with him again they could just dig out old stuff. Don't see it happening though.
We don't know how far along that stuff was and what the quality even was. I'm assuming it's more rough ideas and or song sketches than actual finished tracks. Might be nowhere near finished and even if it was they'd need to sort out a royalties construction as well.

I've always quite liked Nothing. It's clearly an unfinished idea, but I like it a lot and love to know where it went from there.
Sadly this is GnR, so unless there's another massive leak we probably never will.

We were told that was delayed until early next year apparently 😝
GNR posted about it in the aftermath of the delay
After seeing the totally bloodbath of pissed off fans. They said they weren't happy with the mix and that they finally had it in a place they were happy with but it was too late to make Oc 27th....they never normally say anything silence is golden...so this was unexpected move by them
I must've completely missed that. Who posted that where?

I know the X page said there is “no Monsters” but did the person who got their vinyl copy early actually SPIN it or is just going off the info on the back cover?
I'm assuming the latter, but I think it didn't specify. Still looking for someone to CONFIRM whether the version on the vinyl is the same as the leak or not.

I don’t know how anyone can listen to the leaked General and think it came from a rip of the vinyl pressing. You’d hear some surface noise, the dynamics would be different.
It doesn't have to be a rip from vinyl. But rather something that wassent out to press on vinyl.

There's a huge difference between leaks and actual releases for me. Most of my favourites from the leaks (The Blues, Catcher, CD, Riad, Hardschool) got butchered the worst for their actual release. Turning what I considered 9/10 songs into 4/10 songs at best.
Really fuckin awesome tier:
TWAT (2006 leak)
CITR (leak)
The Blues (leak)
CD (leak)
Hardschool (leak)
Awsome-tier:
OMG (bordering really fucking awesome tier)
Prostitute (bordering really fucking awesome tier)
ABSURD
Silkworms (leak)
Monsters (leak)
TWAT
Good-tier:
Riad (leak)
Madagascar (leak)
CD (I hate the lack of bass, but I like other additions)
ITW
Perhaps
Perhaps (leak)
The General
Okay-tier:
Madagascar
IRS
Shacklers
Better
Bad-tier:
Riad
Sorry (would be okay-tier without the cringe "I don't vant to do eet" line)
Hard Skool
SCOM '99 (Mostly because it was kinda redundant, otherwise it's okay)
Awful-tier:
Scraped
TIL
CITR (release)
SOD (release)
