  1. What are your opinions? It seems to have gone quiet to me. Will a release be needed before rock in rio, or after?

It really depends on what Axl wants to do. With the failed tour in 02', I think Axl has no choices but to tour behind CD. I think once all the dates for the European tour are finalized, Axl will personally make a statement and 'Chinese Democracy' will start.

  2. Huh?! Lame and cheesy?! Do you know what you're talking about....?

CITR is a mini masterpiece... give it some time, it'll grow on you and you'll see it in all its glory.

So true, i cant believe people dont like it cos its not a "rock" song, if you want some rock go and listen to all your motley crue albums and feel free to join us when you learn music isnt just about being badass and wearing make up, altho that may take some of you lot a while :rofl-lol:

It's not November Rain, that's for sure. It's more Queen than anything else, which isn't bad, but very different to the sounds we're used to hearing from GnR'. I'll be interested to hear what it sounds like on the album.

  3. Well

About year or two ago on this page (MYGNR) you could listened to interview with Axl.

It was for some radio station ...... doesn't matter really ... I don't remember

Axl told then that the plan is to drop first record then second & then third.

I understood that it will be in very short space of time so in my mind the 3 cds are already done

Because while touring GN'R would have no time for that.

Maybe this interview is still here in some Archive section

But I'm so hungry for GN'R that I certainly wouldn't mind 3 cds box :)

Guess we'll have to wait and see.... rock2

Yes, it was an interview with a Detroit radio station back in 2002.

  4. It's obviously a mistake.

this may be true, but it remains posted

I see new fans at least once a week on the net posting requests for this rare GNR track

    it needs to come down

we have a whole new generation of Guns N Roses fans, that don't have the priveledge( because of age), of knowing the bands complete history, they are easily decieved, and believe because the song is posted on a rather large GNR site, it must really be them

For a noob, your starting off on the right foot to getting banned.

  5. Guys... the fat chick. You's are slagging her, maybe that's just the way she walks? She was going over to say hi to Axl?

    :rofl-lol:

Man, I can't stop laughing at that chick. I know it's wrong, but the pic of that chick dancing is funny.

I laughed out loud also, and I'm at work.

  6. Jayme says the party eventually moved to Trucks’ tour bus, where Rose produced a CD and previewed some of “Chinese Democracy” -- which the singer said will be sold as a 3-disc collection.

    :shocked::shocked::shocked:

Thank you...this basicaly exites me enough to ensure a night of insomnia. And I nearly shit myself.

This distorts my entire perspective of Chinese Democracy...

Big problem: It goes against EVERY previous statement about this project. 32 tracks, 26 almost done, 13 on CD, second album in 2007. Remember all that? Release, tour, next release immediately after and tour again? Now....I would LOVE to have a 3 cd box in my hands within months. But is it realistic? Would it be issues like UYI? (cd's sold sepperately) Would it even be marketable? As a whole box I imagine it's hard to market.0

Did Axl not just mean he works towards having 3 cd's worth of material? Could it be a simple misunderstanding?

Honestly, I find this hard to believe!

Maybe Axl meant that 26 are mastered and ready. 13 on the first disc.

  7. On the road to 'Chinese Democracy'

    Posted by David Lindquist

Indiana native W. Axl Rose has popped up at a Korn tour-announcement party and a Victoria’s Secret event in recent weeks, fueling speculation that Guns n’ Roses’ long-delayed “Chinese Democracy” album may be released sooner than later.

Let’s add a field report from the Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band to the stack of growing evidence.

The Big Damn Band, an Indianapolis-based roots blues trio, served as the supporting act for the Derek Trucks Band Feb. 23 at the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood, Calif. Rose caught Trucks in action, and then hit a VIP party at upstairs bar On the Rox.

Big Damn Band members the Rev. Josh Peyton, Breezy Peyton and Jayme Peyton also attended the party. Beyond the high-profile gig on the West Coast, the arrival of Jayme’s birthday at midnight gave the group reason to celebrate.

“(Rose) heard us say that it was my birthday, and he came over and bought me a couple of shots of Patron (tequila),” Jayme says. “I thought that was real nice.”

Photographic evidence of the drink can be viewed here.

Rose, sporting the cornrow hairstyle he unveiled during a brief Guns n’ Roses comeback in 2002, displayed a good sense of humor, according to Jayme.

After Rose mentioned his own recent 44th birthday, Breezy jokingly said, “Man, that is old.”

“(Rose) looked at the bartender and said, ‘Hey can I get a Geritol over here,’ ” Jayme says.

Naturally, Rose and the Big Damn Band bonded because of their shared Hoosier roots. In the old days, Rose told concert audiences that his native state of Indiana was Auschwitz revisited.

“I don’t think he really said anything bad about Indiana,” Jayme says of the Hollywood meeting. “Maybe he didn’t say anything especially good, either.”

Jayme says the party eventually moved to Trucks’ tour bus, where Rose produced a CD and previewed some of “Chinese Democracy” -- which the singer said will be sold as a 3-disc collection.

“He still has the ‘Axl voice,’ ” says Jayme, who recalls the 1991 Guns n’ Roses album “Use Your Illusion I” as the first CD he ever purchased. “He was in the bus singing along. I couldn’t believe it was still Axl’s voice, all these years later.”

    Look, it's Axl.

  8. the "Merck" on that site is a fake. he said a lot of stupid stuff (and I do mean stupid) on the gossip forums that indicate that its just some retard faking as Merck.

Merck confirmed on mygnr.com that the poster on Metal Sludge going under the pseudonym "Merck Mecuriadis" is indeed an imposter.

    He did this here? Where?

  9. 01 01 01  Why can't you be out there?

It's not. I don't believe the hoarders either. This person (it's only one) failed to show me screenshots to the menu on the dvd, so I say it's BS.

The MTV reherseals I do believe, and at some point this will be in global circulation.

Well they shot it, so SOME ONE has to have it, unless axl burned it. By someone I done mean anyone, trader or management. They recorded it right?

As far as MTV rehersals the only reason I'd want to hear them would be to see if they did the medley better than the actual MTV awards. Meaning, on pitch and on time front man, cuz that medley kicked ass.

Yes, the dvd exists. However, I don't believe it's in the hands of anyone that claims to have it. Geffen vaults is a close as it gets.
