I wonder why Axl doesn't try to bring Bucket or Robin back.

Because they don't want to come back. Robin recently played a show with them as a special guest, so he's cool with the band, but he obviously wants to do NIN more than GNR. Bucket doesn't want to be a part of GNR because to him (like many other fans) GNR was originally the Axl/Slash show. In his mind, it should have therefore transitioned to the Axl/Bucket show.

That's just it. Axl once said that the song was about the bus stop and as the song states, this the the view of a "small town white boy". He may think like this or have these views from time to time but he's not acting out on them and he's not harming anyone. Instead he just continues on with his life and that in itself is a profound message imo and it's right there in the song!

Every aspect technically. Bumblefoot is a better singer than Axl on a technical level. He has a much bigger range, better control of his voice, wider range of styles, etc. I'm not saying people should prefer Bumblefoot to Axl. That is up to preference. Axl is a legend. But, on a technical level Bumblefoot is a better singer.
