Load & Reload are both great rock albums. But not metal albums.
Metallica is a metal band at the beginning.
I have no problem with the loads, but didn't consider them Metal albums.
St.Anger is the shittiest 'tallica album ever, so i prefer the loads any day than Anger.
I think Lulu is worse than St. Anger, TBH.
I don't even consider Lulu a Metallica album. It's more like a side project or something. It's literally impossible to listen to. It's probably the worst album I've even heard from a band I like. By far.

Late Night or the Live Era version.

early 1990
Also, do you think the story about GN'R wanting him to join in 1986 but he broke his hand in a wreck, is true? I ask because Axl apparently dedicated Nightrain to Dizzy and his hand at a 1986 show...The story isn't true, but the Axl dedicate is true. I don't think they wanted a piano player in the band in 1986. Dizzy is a friend at the club days, that's all.

inglewood 91(almost 4 hr concert plus locomotive was played, crazy fucking set)
i really want a pro shot from this show.

It's no secret I'm not the biggest fan of what Axl and his employees are doing. But in all honesty, to me, and the majority of people, GNR are basically a thing of the past. I know legally they exist, but in essence they put out their last album of new material in 1991 for most. I specifically come here because most of my friends in the real world aren't nearly into GNR in depth like I am. Most tap their foot to SCOM and shit, but none of them really care beyond that. I come here to chit chat with those that are as in to them, in depth, like I am. I still think Axl's incredible from a performance perspective, I just don't agree with A LOT of what he's been doing since the mid to late 90s. But still I like to keep track of what has become of my favorite band in terms of what Axl and Slash and co are up to these days. And discuss it with those who care as much as I do, one way or the other, .
great post

I'm here because I want to be. This is one of few sites left where differing opinions are allowed. I have a better question for the OP and those who wonder the same thing:
If you do not like people being less enthusiastic and would prefer them gone, why not just go to the place where that kind of censorship is in full force?
and the winner is: Rustycage
and BAN MSL he steal from GNR
-
You have no counter-arguments, so why don't you do us all a favor and go away?
Because i'm not working for you or something...
PS: suck my sweaty plums
-
Who the fuck is this loser Chris Weber?? This guy made it pretty clear during the interview he's beyond jealous that everybody in GNR had success and he didn't...
Chris Weber was in Hollywood Rose.

Gee, it would seem I touched a nerve. I would like to thank those that simply answered my query in the opening post, instead of being "offended" or making annoying editorial comments.
The only nerve you touch is the one in your pants when you think of Axl
:rofl-lol:

It's like a train smash. I can't look away
I also like ancient Egypt. Should I not be interested just because it doesn't exist anymore?
Oh don't gimme that shit. You flaunt your lack of faith. You rub our noses in it. You take out your frustrations with Axl on other fans. You exert a concerted effort to spread your distaste for GnR.
But your answer certainly is interesting. You seem.. how shall i say.. a little defensive? lulz
So put him on ignore and quit caring what he thinks
No. I'm going to call him out for what he is and challenge him. I don't ignore people (with a button). His behavior pertains to the thread. If you don't like it, leave the thread. =)
Okay, but you constantly whine about posters who "lost faith" or whatever your stupid diagnosis...
You are not better with the constant whining
-
spash likes money so he named his son cash
yeah, but what is this sentence doing the thread?
-
It seems some fans have lost faith in one way or another. Why then, do those people still follow the band? It's quite the riddle. And one which vexes me so.
why not?
Who are you to tell people what they followed or not?
Not to mention the "faith" word have several meanings...

There is no question in my mind that he would've gone down in history and remembered in the same breath as the greats - Hendrix, Bonham, Morrison etc.
Yeah, agreed. I think his legacy would have been much bigger than those names. Guns were massive in the early 90's.
Of course slash would of hired a new singer and cash grabbed for eternity, its his nature
He wouldn't call it guns n roses though. At least he's not that self indulgent.
I could see him doing lots and lots of tribute shit though.
You're a moron if you honestly believe that. Slash is nothing but an attention whore. He would absolutely call it GNR cuz he could be making money off of the name, otherwise why would he be bitter with Axl at this point??
It's all about money to slash..
Dear AxlRose14. You're a moron because you argue on a hypothetical scenario...
and your comment perfectly fits any other former classic line-up member too (especially Axl, because he's doing what you describe
-
Yes
but this thread fits in the Dust n' Bones section...
-
Without each other?
neither of them...
Don't get me wrong they are good, but since they split out, neither of them doing something remarkable and timeless...
-
Do you think Axl's legacy would be viewed differently if his life tragically ended in his prime ?
Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison, Cobain, etc. who died at the peak of their career were all elevated to rock god status.
Axl was on top of the world in the early 90's and he's done nothing but stumble over himself since........ tarnishing his legacy in the process.
If he had died before the Seattle invasion, sure. But by 1994, pop culture in the US had already moved on.
lolno
Pop culture already moved on, but the dead rockstars always be rock gods...

i don't think you understood the question. is english your first language?
Do you want to wrestle me?
