  1. Just watch this video of Patience:

Is Ashba really walking the stage making the crowd cheer him while Fortus and Bumblefoot are playing?

Looks like he was - I really don't like the guy. I want Robin back...

What's with his heart gesture with his hands? is this a Taylor Swift concert or something?

He really is an ass - and I also wonder what's he doing with that stupid TM thing on his social pages.

  2. Would be cool if Duff would be back permanently, but it wouldn't be fair to Stinson, so no. These kind of guest things are cool, though. I can't believe I'm saying this, but these kind of things make it feel like Gn'R is one big family.

"Wouldn't be fair to Stinson"? LOL Stinson- the guy who has made a bunch of cash off of Duff's old band.

It's not like he stole his place in the band. And the cash he is making, he does so by working his ass off, you know - like playing gigs for the fans. he's not just sitting there pilling up money.

  3. How can some people have not even gave it a spin, even through Spotify or a downloaded version? This was something every GN'R or Axl fan has been waiting for 15 years.

Something scarier is the fact that posters who hate the current band and CD are posting dozens of posts on a daily basis.

Not trying to stir shit up, I'm really wondering.

Anyway, I listen to CD songs more than any other GN'R songs - AFD and TSI are the ones I listen to the least (in studio form for AFD, I listen to Jungle, Easy, Nightrain all the time, but live versions - by the new band, mainly RAR 2006). I like their sounds better now than during the UYI tour.

  4. I actually can't understand how any of you have never listened to the thing all in one sitting. Its a little over an hour long, and even if you don't like the album, its not torture. I just don't know how you can be this huge a fan and not at least sit through the album once in full. I get not liking it, but at least hear it all at once and give it a fully formed opinion. If there are seriously people that have never heard the whole thing through thats just crazy. You can't have that much better things to do other than give an hour to listen to a record.

Those saying they haven't listened the album are plain liars. And if they really haven't then they shouldn't trash it.

  5. It's funny that I don't see anyone complaining about Tommy being replaced momentarily. I thought he had fans.

Because we know he's coming back?

Duff being there is a big deal for everyone, doesn't mean we don't care about Tommy.

In fact, Duff replacing his replacement is pretty funny when you think about it (joking).

Anyway, I'm glad we'll get to see full shows with Duff - and Tommy will be back after the Replacement shows.

  6. Would be pretty awesome if they just dropped most of, if not all the CD stuff from the set for these shows... i mean its just as close to the uyi lineup as the cd lineup with duff stepping in for tommy, so why not replace some cd tracks with uyi tracks? It would give the setlist a much needed change and us fans a much needed breath of fresh air

No thankx, keep CD songs in the set, but just other songs from those currently being played.

Drop the covers and add some UYI material instead!

  7. ^ Same here...

I used to debate a lot with friends to defend Axl and current GN'R but it's becoming difficult... To say the least.

I don't understand why they do things the way they do, and why are the others staying??

All those talks about a new album feel like a carrot for the donkeys that will chose to believe.

Turns out I don't, not anymore. I'd love to be proven wrong but these days I don't think it will ever happen.

    Sad sad times.

  8. As much as I love 'Dry County', I gotta go with 'These Days'.

Musically to me it was the band's peak. Great sound, production, there's not a track I hate or skip (which I do on all the other albums).

Maybe it's the darker tone, but songs like 'Hey God' or 'Damned' and 'My Guitar Lies Bleeding In my Arms' are top.

I wish they'd go back to that style instead of the pop sound of their last offerings.

And first I'd like Richie Sambora to go back with the band (after a record with Orianthi though).

  9. Yes, I'm more and more leaning towards calling them that (a nostalgia act) that's why I've said that given current looks of things it's harder to have faith in the future.

I still just want to hope a little. Just a little more - believing that Axl can still deliver something great.

If not then I won't burry my head in the sand, and call the current band for what it will in the end be. I just can't (yet) believe that Axl has no more vision and goes with the flow (constant touring of old material - CD included, no creativity, no desire to better himself etc.).
