Axl was really under valued. If the other 4 thought Dust N Bones could be a hit or they could rock stadiums without Axl then they should have formed their own band. They could still do that.

On the other hand if you have a lead singer who is more Queen or Zepp making front a punk rock band seems a bit counter intuitive.

You know MB, I never really liked DJ before. I thought he was a fake, a Slash wannabe and I despise his Ashbaland crap, but he was AMAZING last night. He is a great entertainer and he gave it 100%. Sure he loves the spotlight but I don't blame him for that. 99% of the western world's population wants to be famous so you can't critique him for that. I don't particularly care whether he was technically that great, to my untrained ear he sounded fantastic and played the parts he had well.

I had a blonde girl next to me for the show and we were dancing and jiving and screaming away the whole night and a couple of times he engaged with us and smiled at our reactions. When I met him I said that he was amazing tonight and he said "so were you!". Hahahaha! Gotta love that, he knows how to work it. I have a new found respect for the guy and I don't care what anyone else has to say about him, so don't bother replying to this with heaps of DJ hate, folks. I'm not going to respond. I made my own opinion last night and that's all that counts to me.

I think in time DJ will win over the fans. He's a great connection with the audience, just like Bumble.

When I saw them last year at Grasspop in Belgium, there were idiots who kept screaming "bring back Slash", I wanted to beat them to death because you could really see they were there just to ruin things for others. They looked really really stupid, and half an hour later they were so drunk that two of them passed out. Needless to say no one cared to see if they were ok lying on the floor.

RAR '06 - Nightrain especially. It's always in my 'most-played' list in iTunes.

Axl is one of my heroes not because he is famous or wealthy, that would be fucking stupid.

He is because he was a voice for me when I was a teen, he could put inton words and songs what I was feeling.

Because he has a unique voice.

Because he is conflicted.

Because he doesn't give a fuck.

No matter what the assholes here say, he is talented and to can't go away.

They played a few promo shows for the upcoming release of the new album - they sound good actually!
