Does anyone know if they sold lithographs at the merch stand outside the show, and if so what time it opens

There are complaints about a 25 minute wait? Haha. Imagine fans like that from 1991-2014, jeez. Maybe I’m a sucker, and I’m sure there are a lot of us, but the long waits back in the day, to me, just added to the shows. Long wait, build the excitement and intensity…
When you are a teenager and pay $25 on a ticket it is cool, if you are middle aged and spend $150 on a ticket and $40 on parking it isn't

so Coma/Locomotive is being scrapped for North America?

They are only making 150 lithos per show this tour? That is crazy I thought it was tough getting them when they were 300

i recommend buying now, you can get lower level (100 section)for $100.
the lowest those will go same day is $80.
pit will not be reduced that much till day of the show. probably $150/$200
You think pit will be reduced? I get the feeling it is not going to be

hopefully never, I really don't want GNR tainted for me

Rogan adds nothing to the experience and even detracts from it sometimes, but it can still be fulfilling if the guest is motivated to talk as much as possible and is passionate about what they're discussing.
However, if there's any hint of hesitancy or unwillingness to dive into certain subjects, it's useless. Joe Rogan just isn't the type of interviewer that can make a nervous guest comfortable. Axl is not a good fit for that environment imo. Axl has too many sensitive subjects that Rogan will obliviously bumble into, and he comes off a little insulting sometimes which would make Axl shut down more. I also think that if politics get brought up, it would get a little awkward because of how much those two differ as far as political leanings are concerned.
I want Axl to be interviewed by Marc Maron or Conan O'Brien, people who actually know what a real interview is and how to handle serious topics.
I can agree with this, especially Conan

god I hope Axl or any of the other guys doesn't go on Joe Rogan, just seeing him taking a photo with him and saying he gave him backstage passes taints him for me, if he went on that show I think it would ruin GNR for me

So someone gave you an album that contains "turn around bitch I got a use for you" and "you're daddy works in porno" and "your mommy used to love her Heroin" and many more?
ha I actually found the tape discarded at the summer camp I was at, I was a fan of GNR based on the videos that were on MTV including Patience and I really wanted Appetite but there is no way I had the money or my parents would buy it, and I think someone thought the cassette tape was unsuable as the tape was all rolled out and messed up as cassette tapes sometimes did that so I picked it rolled the tape back in and it worked fine, wonder if I would have been as big of a GNR fan as I had been if I did not get that tape.

I am 43, Appetite was the first album I ever got when I was like 9, I still don't know all the lyrics to Paradise City

Does anyone remember if they discounted Metlife Pit tickets in 2021? I know they discounted them for some shows but I know the NY market is more in demand
-
man I almost booked a trip to this mainly to see Ozzy, I actually thought it was odd Ozzy would play this show given all his health issues, not a surprise to see him cancel, I hope I am wrong but I can't imagine him playing a full concert again

I really think if Unpublished Critics was never written SCOM would have never been created, maybe it was an unconscious thing and they heard the song and it got in their head, maybe it was a deliberate thing, but the fact it is so similar and Australian Crawl were a very popular band in Australia and that song was released on Geffen records a few years before GNR was signed I do not think it is a coincidence.

Even hardcore fans are split over the merits Use Your Illusion's bondage-themed song Pretty Tied Up;
Are there any fans who are "split" over seeing that here? If I see them in states that is going to be the highlight of the show for me, I hope they are not influenced by some random journalist or perhaps less than stellar crowd reaction and decide to drop it, infact I haven't seen any videos of it as a way to not spoil it if I am hearing it live for the first time

Does Axl go to the soundchecks,?

I can't believe how poorly the NJ show is selling, I get it they played there 2 years ago but it is still the NYC market and you figure it would be selling alot better, they should have booked the show at Yankee Stadium or Citi field, I can guarantee it would have sold alot better, people just don't want go to the same boring Metlife Stadium to see the same concert for the 2nd time in 3 years, they are going to eventually have heavy discounts but I can't imagine it would be enough to make the stadium even 1/2 filled.

They should cut the set down to about 2.5 hours and rotate songs each night, would keep things fresher for the band and there wouldn't be as many lulls that take the energy out of the crowd. I saw RHCP a week ago and the difference between them and GNR was definitely noticeable. RHCP only played 1 hour 45 minutes but it was all killer no filler, the jams were all high energy, and everyone left wanting more... I can't say the same for a 3.5 hour GNR show.
That would be the worst for me, just a greatest hits tour would stink, I personally like the longer sets, and I saw RHCP last year and I was disappointed as they mainly played newer stuff and it seemed they could have played longer, not sure why anyone would want a short concert especially with what these guys charge

I wonder if GNR is aware that changing setlist can make a difference in sales.
it will make no difference, 90% of the people see them for the songs that are already on the set list(WTJ PC, SCOM, NR, etc..), maybe a few dozen die hard fans who say they wont see them will go if they see there are more older songs added to the set list

I wonder ..... just wondering guys !! If in some venues they don't hit 10,000 , would they switch it to an arena ? Or could they? In some stadiums, it's not going well. And I don't think tickets will massively take off . I know people buy tickets closer to the date . And especially the day off, but not feeling it on this one .
I think they have to much pride to switch to arenas, I can't imagine tickets moving that much in some of the Stadium shows unless they announce a major opening act like Foo Fighters or something that will get tens of thousands of people wanting to buy tickets, they have toured to much over the last few years and anyone who wanted to see them saw them, they are of course going to eventually reduce ticket prices but that might not be enough unless they have some crazy promotions like $20 Tickets, which they probably will, it just sucks for the real fans who bought tickets early.

ha no, though they appear to be sold out now

I'll bet anything all the real decisions are made through Axl, maybe they may ask for Slash and perhaps Duff's opinion on things, but we all know Axl is the guy who is in charge

so happy I paid $90 for a fan club membership for the chance to pay $461 for a pit ticket at Wrigley

Scalpers can grab them anyway because you can buy a Nightrain membership + ticket day-off. For example, one of the options on today’s Fenway presale is “Nightrain standard membership + ticket” with presale code GNR.
the only show on this tour that might sell out or might have some money to be made on the aftermarket is the Hard Rock show, all these other shows are already so overpriced that no Scalper is going to touch them unless they want to lose money
