  1. I bet Bumblefoot had influence on this, pretty sure he is Jewish and has been to Israel

hope Axl can not be intimated by all these anti-Israel boycott people, who are going to no doubt flood the websites to tell him to boycott like they do to all artists who visit

  2. Got my Chicago tix!! See all you rowdy motherfuckers there!! rock3

Where, I can't get on LiveNation... Passcode is Electronic???

That's what worked for me. There's two LiveNation presales, make sure you're using the lower one!

Olga, Balchony 1 is indeed the best place to be at HOB. Been there a couple times and it's by far the best view in the house. If that's where you are, I'll be seeing you there!

do you know if they let you do to the Floor if you have Balcony tickets

  3. Axl is crazy if he thinks this current lineup is going to do anything

I am sure attendance has been rapidly decreasing since he took out the "New" Guns N Roses since 2002

Most people want to see the old GNR

  4. I got a couple for a 4 spot each. Would have been nice to be one of the few who got them via the site and phone number but oh well. Who knows the prices may go down as the next couple months pass but I decided to just get them and not worry about it. Sec 47.

Normally prices on StubHub do go down as the event nears, but this event is totally different. The HOF won't be releasing additional tickets as the event nears, and as more information about the festivities comes out the induction will get publicized more and drive up demand. If it's big name stars that will do the honors, demand will spike. And if there is any sort of confirmation that Axl will appear with Slash and the old members, demand will go through the roof.

If there's confirmation Axl will perform with the original members, you'll have to take out a mortgage to afford a ticket.

that is my prediction as someone who is involved in the ticket industry, if Guns announce they are going to play with Axl and Slash and the old guys, you wont see anything for less then $1,000-1,500 on the aftermarket, only way tickets will get cheaper is if Axl announces he will not be there and Slash announces he wont be there as well, even still you have enough fans of the other bands and people wanting to go for the novelty of the event that I doubt you will see tickets for less then $300

  5. this show and Albany were cancelled for bad ticket sales, whether the band(Axl) the promoters, or someone else decided to cancel, I do not know, but if you think these 2 shows were cancelled for anything other then bad ticket sales, you are fooling yourself

  6. How do people know there were poor ticket sales?

trust me I checked alot, they did not even sell the upper level for that show, and the lower levels were sold in about 1/2 of the sections

Yeah, but do you or anyone else know a number for tickets sold? Perhaps more importantly, how this show sold compared to other shows that proceeded as planned?

    Ali

I do not know a number, but I would be willing to bet less tickets sold for this show then any other show

my job involves selling tickets, so I often check to see what is available and how much

I would be willing to bet less tickets sold for this show then any other show by a huge margin

  8. Doesn't sound like Guns cancelled the show, the venue did.

"Due to production issues beyond the venue’s control"

    Hmm...

production issues is usually the excuse when they cancel for poor ticket sales

and in the E-mail from Times Union Center, it says "Due to production issues, Guns and Roses has canceled"

I bet they are pissed, I wonder if they still get a paycheck out of it

  9. I bet it was because of ticket sales, I know sales were bad for this show

Kind of dumb they booked it right before thanksgiving weekend, Albany is a college town and most of the kids went home for vacation

  10. he has a sense of humor, would not surprise me if he is talking about cutting his beard when he talks about "quitting this" "alone contemplating" "Was gonna finally do it and the stuff I need is missing from my luggage."

Ron does not seem like the type that would kill himself, or announce it on facebook

  11. I guess I am the minority disappointed in the show

I saw them in 2002 and 2006 and in Rosemont on Tuesday

I doubt I will be seeing them again

I guess it was good in 2002 and 2006 because I was seeing my favorite band

But now I am sick of all the covers, the solos and the many Chinese Democracy songs

I do not mind some solos, some covers and some Chinese Democracy

But when it seems the concert is focused on that, and the "old" GNR songs is almost a gift, it gets old

Did not seem the concert had a good flow to it

    I guess you might be.

    What songs did you miss?

You got November Rain, Don't Cry, and Estranged. You wouldn't have gotten that in 2002 or 2006.

    They didn't do My Michelle.

And in 1992 you could have gotten Wild Horses or Attitude. Matt had a drum solo and Slash did the Godfather theme. I don't get where the backlash against covers and solos comes from.

maybe you are right, like I said, I am not really a fan of the covers(including Knockin) and most of the Chinese Democracy songs

Guess I was hoping if they are gonna play a 25 song set the overwhelming majority would have been "old" GNR

and I am pretty sure November Rain was part of the 2002 and 2006 shows
