most likely they do a cover of "You're a lie" by Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators
-
MSG is probably the only arena they can get a good crowd in the US so maybe
and it aint hard to sell out MSG, it is the most accessible arena/stadium in the world in terms of train stations that are in the basement and millions of people who can get there in an hour, people make a big deal out of selling out MSG but if you are a big band and dont sell out that place that is a problem
-
Slash with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators

I would pay about $5 to see "New" Guns N Roses as it is and probably less then that if you told me it would be a concert of all "new" stuff, really could care less about new stuff
-
interesting to hear, would be even better if they could do it with the "old" guys
-
I dont think any of the shows will sell out, maybe some of the Saturday shows might, but I doubt it, for those Wednesday shows I imagine the place will be less then 1/2 filled
-
The facts show that GnR's US ticket sales have been roughly the same in 2002, 2006 and 2011. If they were able to book the 2006 and 2011 US shows in arenas, they'll be able to do the same next time they tour the US if they so cheese
The usual naysayers and doom and gloomers will post their usual doomsday predictions but the reality is that GnR is still a perfectly viable arena touring act in the US. This myth that you need to sell out every venue you play to be a viable touring act is incredibly misguided and naive
they were the "same" in 2002 2006 and 2011 because Axl gave a 4-5 year break in between the shows, so people had the desire to see them again
If Axl decides in 2013 he is going to play Arenas again in the US, I guarantee these places will be less then 1/2 filled
between people not having a desire to see them again, having a bad experience by the shows ending at 2AM, and people being upset at Axl not showing up for the Rock N Roll Hall of fame, Guns N Roses in their current capacity is irrelevant
like I said if he does not mind playing 2-4,000 capacity clubs they will get good crowds, but never will "new" Guns be able to play Arenas again
-
It wont be the same set list, I guarantee it will be alot shorter, when bands play these "residency" Vegas shows they always play the minimum, if GNR was playing 25+ song set lists (minus the solos) on their past tour, I guarantee these shows have like 20 songs
-
New Guns N Roses will never be able to play "Arenas" again
If they want to tour the US they have to play these 2,000-4,000 capacity places
And they have to cut the prices in half for their UCAP tour I know they charged like $100 and up for most places, that aint gonna cut it in most towns, maybe in NY and Chicago
-
Yes I will no longer being see Guns N Roses with the "New" lineup
-
they should have had a reunion at the hall of fame, it would have been great, but Axl blew it, any reunion now will be pathetic
-
no I could care less about any New Guns N Roses music
I want to see Axl apologize for not showing up at the hall of fame, then reuniting with the old guys (Slash, Duff, Izzy, Matt? Steven?)
Then I want to see them tour, if they made music with the old lineup then I would be interested, but other then that I do not care
and Green Day sucks, do not compare them to GNR
I saw them in 1995 and I was into them, they were the first concert I ever saw, I liked Dookie and Insomniac, but since then they have been milking their stupid punk thing and they basically gave "punk" music a bad name
-
tour where the US? you think anyone in the US really cares to see them again? maybe if they play those 2,000 capacity clubs and decide to cut the prices to $50 a ticket they might get a decent crowd, but seeing the "New" Guns N Roses in the US is not something most people care to see anymore
-
of course Axl has the final and only real say in everything related to GNR
I want to know if people like Bumble and the rest of the crew get paid per gig or they get a contract for the whole year or the tour
I believe that they all are under contract to Axl. They make X amount no matter what. It's a "personal services" type contract.
if Axl books these last minute wedding gigs that kinds of screws with the crew and the bands head and Axl decides to keep the 1 million for himself, then yea I would be pissed to, if Axl gives everyone $20,000 or something then he should keep quiet
-

Bumble has alot of balls saying this crap now, I imagine he knows this is the end and I doubt Axl will fire him at this point, I predict on July 23rd it will be announced that Bumble is no longer in the band
-
so what is bumbles real problem, is he pissed that Axl did not postpone the tour? is he pissed about his medical problem and wants the rest of the world to feel bad for him
-
Bumble really is a baby
how about just quit or suck it up
how much is he getting paid, I imagine he must make at least $500,000 a year especially when GNR is touring
-
wow Bumblefoot is not hiding his feeling, no doubt there is alot of friction between him and Axl, have a feeling this is the last of seeing Bumblefoot in GNR
-
if it was not for Guns N Roses no one would have a clue who Bumblefoot is
he should at least respect the fans by not saying crap like "1 more fucking show"
I imagine fans who are looking forward to that concert will be upset once they see the guitarist does not want to be there
and yea "nail in the coffin"
what does that mean?
Sounds like the end of Bumblefoot in GNR< who knows maybe he has had problems with Axl and the other guys, and he has had to keep quiet about it

There probably isn't one. I remember the video where Slash is reading a book on a boat in the Mediterranean doing his best to ignore Dizzy. Teddy Andreadis played with Slash's blues ball so he must like him.
I remember that to, it was some MTV spring break thing, Slash was acting like an a-hole towards Dizzy, kind of sad, definitely makes me think less of Slash

answered my own question, after some research looks like they went past curfew and had to cancel the show early according to the notes from this guy on youtube
-
it happened Axl Slash Izzy Duff Steven and Rob Gardener all got on stage and they played locomotive dont damn me and nightrain it was awesome but unfortunately they did not allow cameras so there wont be any footage so it will be denied
-

shows look like they are selling horribly, would not be surprised to see them cancel them or slash prices in 1/2
