Seriously? So if they play to some friends and family and people in the industry you don't even want to see Guns at all? I don't get that.

I do want to see them, but considering the time and the effort I am putting into these Vegas shows I would hang around until they played locally rather than make a 3,500 mile trip and drop over $1,000 in the process

I think it could happen after Vegas, if there is one.  But who knows, it's pretty common for a band, especially one that has not played together in 23 years, to have a small club gig before going on tour....so it could happen before Vegas....either is possible at this point.

That being said, if there is one, it will most likely be a private, invite only event....so no reason to complain about it because there is a 99% chance most fans couldn't get in if they wanted to.

it is still going to be the first glimpse at GNR, there is going to be video of it everywhere, I want to see the first performance of Axl and Slash together with my own eyes

if by killing it you mean KILLING IT, then yeah

we're getting what we've wanted for a long time, and the icing on the cake is that he's potentially filling in to front for another one of the biggest rock bands of all time. he also looks like he's gotten himself in shape.

stop bitching! let's see what happens first.

I was definitely down for any hybrid of GNR that involved the "old" guys, I assumed Izzy wasn't going to be down for a full time thing since that wasn't his thing, but if it is true that Izzy is out over not getting paid enough or not being wanted, it is putting a damper on the whole thing for me

confusion regarding the April 1st Hollywood Roses show at the Whisky a Go Go we have decided it's best to refund all ticket buyers. Hollywood Roses will still be playing the Whisky on April 1st and tickets will be available at the door on the night of the show for $20. If you still wish to attend simply shoot us an email at mproductionsrocks@gmail.com or call (310) 652-4202 and we will reserve your tickets for you to be purchased at the door.

To be 100% clear HOLLYWOOD ROSES is a Guns N' Roses tribute band. Guns N' Roses are not playing The Whisky. We are sorr

$20 to see a cover band is alot of money, especially since they are playing in May and they are only charging $13, I would think on this short notice they would charge like $10 to get people in the door

    What made you think that?

well if your intentions are to try and get to California cuz you are on a budget or you want an adventure it is commendable, however the wanting to meet the band is putting them on the spot and they really should have nothing to do with your adventure on a personal level

Anyone knows a good place for vegetarian food in vegas? Like burgers n shit?

ha I am in the same boat

Happy Cow is a good resource : http://www.happycow.net/north_america/usa/nevada/las_vegas/

    as is Yelp:  http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=vegan&find_loc=Las+Vegas%2C+NV&ns=1

it seems on the strip there is not a whole lot of choices, but if you have a car and don't mind taking a trip there is a bunch around the city

If GNR were really playing, why would there be a need to cancell Adler first. They could just suprise everyone and come on instead of Adler.

was the Adler show selling ok? as far as I can tell there were still tickets available

having a GNR cover band on April Fools day with all of the hype around it is sure to get a bigger crowd than Adler with some other bands

That kind of pisses me off because I also wanted to attend the very first reunion show on April 8th in Vegas but I'm almost 100% convinced they'll be there.

However, objectively, I have to admit it would be a really cool thing to do. I almost bought a ticket last night, even if I knew I couldn't attend, I sort of regret not doing it now.

T-Mobile Arena or Guns N Roses definitely advertised the Vegas gigs as their first "reunion" shows or whatever, having this club show beforehand is definitely going to mean it was false advertising

  9. another really strong giveaway of GNR actually showing up at this gig, if you look at Whiskey-a-go-go's facebook page, people are making comments like " I still think there is a strong possibility of a surprise here. I was willing to spend 20 bucks to find out"  and it is getting liked by Whiskey a-Go-Go, also if people are asking " Is this an April fools joke and Gnr are really going to play? " Whiskey a-go-go is not denying GNR is playing and is only liking the comments

GNR has a history at the Whiskey-a Go-Go,

Adler supposed to play but getting cancelled and a GNR "cover band" playing in his place

Adler keeping quiet when if he was not included in the "reunion" he would be all over the media telling how much he is hating Axl

GNR starting their "tour" the following week

    April Fools Day=

GNR is likely playing the Whiskey a Go-Go on April 1st

just wait until the show has started and scalpers will be selling tickets below face value right outside the gates.

you'll be able to choose any tickets you want. don't buy the first you see, walk around and see what different guys have.

remember, their tickets are only worth what someone's willing to pay, you set the market.

i've gotten into countless huge 'sold out' shows this way over the past 20+ years. there's no such thing as sold out.

there is no way in hell there are tickets going to be selling for below face, for some lame run of the mill concert you are always able to get a good deal, but for a historic concert like this it is going to be hard to get, on Stubhub the prices have been going up and the inventory is going down.

and yes it is true you might get a really good deal on the street before the show, possibly below face, however if you are going to find this deal I am going to bet my life the tickets are going to be a fake, in this day and age I would never in a million years buy a ticket on the street unless you are able to go in with the person selling it and pay them after you are in

I wouldn't doubt that it was McCartney he usually plays new venues when they open

McCartney played a baseball stadium in Minneapolis in 2014 so I am pretty sure he is not going to be back so soon

Coldplay still has alot of open dates on their tour so I wouldn't be surprised if it is them, though I am not sure they are considered "'rock"

and Pearl Jam is not a stadium type of band unless it is a Historic stadium like Fenway or Wrigley which they are playing this year
