All things considered...
We've got this, don't worry.
But other than that, we have stuff that's still got to come out.Axl has tons of material, and we all want to do it... We haven't even gotten to that point in earnest of sitting down and writing...
We’re clearing things out, we're just gonna put out like one or two songs, and another one or two songs, we're priming the pumps, and using the sitar pedal for a song you haven't heard yet.
We've got this.
We're just figuring it out. In the next 6 months... It happens when it happens, we're trying to put out a new single, any day now.
You have to respect what's going on in the world, we're trying to figure out how to release an album in this day and age you know.

What was the reason GN'R didn't release a follow up to Chinese Democracy after 2008 until he left in 2014, with songs like Absurd, Hard School, Perhaps or the upcoming The General? Did the label reject any follow up album plans?

This is what shacklermyrye said over EVO
They stuck a video up on youtube promoting Powertrip. The audio is close to the video they did promoting Glastonbury. At the time they put that one up I asked the company that made it where the audio came from and they told me it was made from "Elements of GNR music".
Parts of it I could make out, like CD drums buried way down in the mix but most of it was evil sounding strings stuff that sounded like it had been heavily manipulated. I kind of wondered at the time if maybe some of it might be from unreleased stuff. Given most of it was unrecognizable it seemed likely.
57 sec into this one right at the end before it cuts off if you listen through earphone's it sounds (to my ears at least) like it is just starting to go into the same evil strings sounding part. The note it ends on seems the same as the first note from the low cello sounding shit from the 2006 tour intro.
Probably just hearing things.
