Bumblefoot, is smart. He doesn't play stupid songs from some foreign asshole that just sings a bunch of shit. Buckethead, I have no explanation for. Just stupid. The song is annoying as hell, is way overplayed, and not worth the time of day.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Foreign Asshole? Sings a bunch of bullshit? Do you even know wtf he's singing? I love BBF but Buckethead's having fun. He wins.
I have lots of respect for Buckethead, just what he did is stupid. Do you know also what PSY did besides contaminate everyone with his song? What brainsaber said... "I encourage you all to research Psy and see what a poor excuse for a human being he is. The shit he said/sang about American soldiers was just plain wrong, and he should be raked over the coals for it. I don't give a shit if he apologized, some things you just can't take back. To add insult to injury, he is conveniently ignorant of history and who, exactly, sacrificed their lives for his fucking country."

I am sure most of you have seen/herd Axl and Tom singing Free Fallin' at the MTV Music Video Awards. I first heard the second part today, where they sing Heartbreak Hotel. Wow. Just wow. I don't think I ever saw Axl with this much energy and his vocals being just perfect! What do you guys think?

Whenever I need a good laugh, I listen to GNR's cover of "Hair of the Dog". Untold levels of awfulness in there.
Really? You don't like Hair of the Dog? Why not? I honestly think it is better then the Nazareth version.

UYI II because almost every song on there is a hit. I couldn't listen to it enough. All the other albums (besides the DJ one) are very close.
-
Yes, I also like Alternate. I thought I just liked it the best since it was the first version I heard and I listened to it a lot of times (since at one time I only owned UYI II and not UYI I)
-
I only see contradictions in your speech. Ig you affirm Label still makes millions thru AFD n UYI then why worryong about CDII????
In adition CD II will contain songs recorded at that time and that bill is already been paid.
I think its all about Axls fucking maniac behaviour. He just have fun frustrating everybody and that stupid idea of " you cant release music people is not ready for". If he thinks by 2016 well be all ready to listen to his new shit WE ARE FUCKED!!!!!
Hope 2013 fat MSL got the balls to leak!!
MSL has the songs from CDII? I thought he just had the songs from Chinese Democracy before the release?

Nice stuff man! Is the first one a bootleg?

Yes, it does get better and better. I originally bought the TSI? cd 2 years ago. Same time when I bought all the other official cds. My copy also has the custom explicit content sticker! But to the point... when I bought it and listened to it I thought, "WTF, why does everyone say it's not that good! This album is way under rated." It's nice to know i'm not the only one that loves this record!
-
TSI? is great. All the members are playing awesome. Even if the songs aren't their own, the covers are some of the best I have heard. Almost every song has something good you can say about it.

Do any of you remember the stage setup (I think probably AFD one) where there was the red avenger and it moved? That just came to mind... and I think it would be just badass!
-
I think that you can take this both ways. Axl does do lots of touring, and for some fans that is great. He does songs that people love and ones people have loved from that past. Other fans, want some new songs and an album. That, I think everyone wants, but I don't think he owes you it or anything. Axl will release it at the time he wants and when he believes it's ready. (I understand this could take a while, so let it be) I don't think he owes me anything but I will say I really want a new album or even just a song or two.

Ain't Goin' Down - Guns N' Roses [uYI Outtakes]

DownUnderScott I couldn't have said it better. Marc, you have answered many questions and done great things with this forum. Thank you much and I hope your 2013 is great!

LOL. I would not even consider them glam bands... I consider Sinners Gin a glam band. And a damn good one. Reminds me of GNR/Motley/Hanoi/NYDolls. Pretty cool.
-
Well, if it was a Rolling Stones song and we haven't heard anything else about it it most likely is a cover. GNR played lots of Rolling Stones covers. Also anyone know anything about This I Love? I have read that it was worked on by Axl in the Illusion days...
-
Really? That's awesome... I would do anything for a store to sell bootlegs by me lol... the other day I freaked out when I thought I saw a Bad Obsession bootleg cd but it was just the 2 CD Greatest Hits import... then I saw a cd called GNR Live Rarities and thought that was a bootleg but also, no.

I'm talking about OMG and Silkworms.
Oh, well, then, in which minute is Silkworms?
P.S: Am I the only one who the video stop running almost at the end?
Mine stops a little bit past 25 minutes. But after a minute or 2 it's better.
-
That is the only time I can think of seeing Going Down... what about you guys? Seen it anywhere else? LOL... unless it was Ain't Goin' Down but I highly doubt it was that.

Axl in London Arena 8-26-2002.
After 'Chinese Democracy,' Axl says, "Now, there's been some concern... that if we play 5 or 6 new songs, then there can't that many more on the album. Au contraire mon frère! We're just playin' the songs we're not considering putting out as singles or anything. So you'll get 18 songs and about 10 extra tracks. And when that... when the record company feels that has run [it's] source, then you'll get it all over again. And by that time, I should be done with the 3rd album! So we'll see if all goes well boys and girls!
So he was planning on playing new songs? and he talks about 3 albums... I can't wait for the 2nd one!

Yes.Oklahoma became Rhiad if I recall.
No.
Are you sure about Riad and Oklahoma? Because I read somewhere that a person backstage said "They are going to play Oklahoma next" and then they played Riad because they were having technical difficulties. Because of that though, people thought Oklahoma was Riad. Also Oklahoma was about when the Oklahoma bombings and Axl was in court... Riad isn't about that is it?
Correct.
Thanks ColdHeartBreaker! That's exactly what I read... it was a while ago and didn't even try looking because I didn't think I'd find it all again. Thanks!

Oh. Ok. Weren't a lot of different (unreleased) songs planned to be played at RIR3? Also wasn't GNR supposed to play Oklahoma at some gig in 2001-2002 and didn't because of technical difficulties? Here's the RIR3 setlist. Going Down?
Axl Rose and Tom Petty

No problem! I can get you a good quality Heartbreak Hotel demo if you would like. Just message me. I will be able to get it for you later tomorrow when I'm at home.
Yes, I would say Axl was definitely at his best. Trying to impress Petty here? LOL. Axl doing a solo project would be interesting, possibly taking different people for instruments in each song or every few? Kind of like Slash did with vocalists for his first solo album.
