Yes, he is a great guitarist. Also not that bad of a singer... does remind me a bit of Myles Kennedy. Funny impressions of Axl.
At what point did he play Silkworms? And you people live better have tried to get him to play stuff like The General... stuff that hasn't been released!

Someone requested Shadow of Your Love
I wasn't watching or chatting live, but hell as soon as I heard he was doing requests I thought to myself "I wonder if anyone said Shadow of Your Love, or if he played it..." It's one of my fav gnr and hollywood rose songs and haven't been able to hear new gnr with it.

For being how old those guys are, they were GREAT! I have the 2 CD and 1 DVD and it's just awesome. Those guys sounded great. They should be on tour right now.

Anyone ever watch Dirty Harry or any other Clint Eastwood movies? I believe GNR is even in the Dead Pool... LOL. Anyway damn great movies and always fun to watch.

You can post YouTube videos by copying and pasting the link. With photos if you have them saved or on the internet just copy and paste them. I am not sure about the smileys though.

I'd like to hear Oh My God again. I don't know how it would sound now... since Axl's voice has changed a bit since the early 2000's. Maybe Silkworms again?? It really seems like Axl is afraid of doing new songs live... He shouldn't because most of us will be happy to hear anything new.

At around 31 mins, the Buddy Guy tribute is awesome.
+1. It was awesome. Jimmy Vaughan (SRV's brother) was great. My dad is a big fan of SRV and he also thought it was great. Buddy Guy was in tears he loved it. Best blues jams and songs I heard in a while. Zeppelin Tribute was good too. I forgot who did Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven, but it was right next to the original. It sounded awesome and was just beautiful.

Same place not same time... It's a different night. But this might be the band... I'll try and find more on them now. They actually sound pretty damn cool.

I think it does, because Sebastian Bach and I think a few others have said stuff about being a trilogy another CD in 2012 (didn't happen but whatever) etc. Also Axl has said he has lots of material about 3 cds worth. Why wouldn't he want to release it? The only think pointing against it is I remember something about in an old interview with him kind of acting like UYI was the only thing he really needed to do and anything after was extra. I really hope there is CDII and that it gets released soon.

Any specifics of what happened though? Whoever insulted him should be banned for life... people need to be respectful even if they don't agree with everything the band members do/have done. The band members also should be respectful to the people here. I think there needs to be more of band to fan conversations. We would know a lot more stuff, other then lies in the press.

IDK man, I have the ebook downloaded and when I zoom in close there is definitely and "i" there. Lets make sure we are looking at the same one, Sunday March 11 correct? Because when I look to me it says Rosie and Rapidfire. Above Rapidfire on Saturday March 10 it clearly says Assault and Rose. Do you have it downloaded? If not download it and zoom in or else do it in you browser I am pretty sure it says Rosie. I can't take a screen shot right now because i'm not on my normal computer but maybe tomorrow. Maybe someone else could look?

If that is Rapidfire, which I believe it is and the song is Ready to Rumble from what I can hear, it's from 1983. You can read all about this at www.rapidfire1983.com. Thank you VERY much for this because I personally heard no Rapidfire and couldn't find any till this. I owe you everything. I am very excited to listen to this more tomorrow. Yes, this was Axl on vocals. He was not in the band very long and it just happened that the bands "dictator" Kevin Lawrence recorded a 5 song demo. They planned on releasing these, but never did. I must get to sleep now, but I can tell you more in the morning if you would like.
Also it seems have VERY good quality for being 1983.

I pre-ordered the book, and it's fantastic, but I remember waiting for an email, a letter, some sort of comms about links to the exclusive content (this wasn't the reason I go the book mind you, but was mindful, as I seem to recall some awesome teaser clips were posted pre-book release).
Regardless, the books is great, and I enjoy flicking through it .... in fact...pretty much every time I go scour for a book to read I pull Reckless Rd out and try have a quick flick through, which ends up in 15 - 20 - 30 min flick
Unfortunately, I have never heard nor have any videos. VIDEOS WOULD BE GREAT! I love watching old Guns N' Roses gigs, but have never seen Hollywood Rose (besides the backyard video, and the other one that looks like they are in an empty warehouse).

I happen to have a full version of Cold Hard Cash (but it is only guitar and vocals) which I believe from what I can remember sounds better then most of the ones on YouTube. I also have a full That Something that doesn't sound the best, but also from what I can remember by far better then the others on YouTube. I will have time tomorrow for more so check back. Yes. I honestly would KILL for a great quality and finished version of That Something. The clip I have of Bloodshot Eyes is not very long (45 seconds to be exact) but still gives a great feel to what the song sounds like. I also have Your Looks Are Gone, but also in not very good quality. I will also be putting that on YouTube soon.
