    2.) Mr. Brownstone

    3.) Sweet Child O' Mine

    4.) Patience

    5.) Don't Cry (Original)

    6.) November Rain

    7.) Estranged

    8.) You Could Be Mine

    9.) Paradise City

    10.) Civil War

    11.) Breakdown

    12.) Used to Love Her

    13.) Locomotive

    14.) Nighttrain

    15.) Coma

    16.) Rocket Queen

Sorta mixed in songs I like and some more mainstream GnR songs.

  2. So I have seen a lot of discussion lately on here about the song choices on GnR's "Greatest Hits" album. Especially with the fact that Ain't it Fun and Since I Don't Have You are on it. Also, that five of the songs are covers.

If you were put in charge of creating the Greatest Hits album, what would you include on it.

Here's the CURRENT Greatest Hits set-list:

    1.) Welcome to the Jungle

    2.) Sweet Child O' Mine

    3.) Patience

    4.) Paradise City

    5.) Knockin' on Heaven's Doors

    6.) Civil War

    7.) You Could Be Mine

    8.) Don't Cry (Original)

    9.) November Rain

    10.) Live and Let Die

    11.) Yesterdays

    12.) Ain't it Fun

    13.) Since I Don't Have You

    14.) Sympathy for the Devil

    *RULES*

    - You can pick 12-16 songs

    - Base it off of what you like. We all have different opinions and nobody should be criticized.

    - In cases such as Don't Cry, you can use the alternative lyric version... even demos or live versions of songs if you'd like.

  3. Maybe we'd get all the live shows from the Use Your Illusion tour & unreleased material & anything else Team Brazil could make a profit from. Musicwise I suppose it would be more productive than now?

Sad thought, but unfortunately very true... :(

  4. I honestly wouldn't give a shit. He's practically dead already.

Arnie you'd care. Losing Axl would be a shame (for alot of reasons). Dude wrote the soundtrack to alot of folks lives....he's a legend, yes he's a joke now, but he was epic at his peak.

Yeah, it would be pretty upsetting to me..

  5. I like it how Axl nuthuggers defense is calling a band overrated just cuz they perform better, instead of going on-topic.

I'm not a nuthugger ans I can agree that Aerosmith and ACDC were both fairly over rated....

It's all personal opinion, nobody is right or wrong.

  6. Ya' know I've got the album and have cranked it in my car and I cannot for the life of me hear the moaning "sex sounds". I wear hearing aids so some sounds are out of my range even with them on.

    I don't hear them :max:.

    :anger:

Hey, even if they edited out the noises it would have been a huge radio hit ( an attempt at a joke at my expense obviously ). :rofl-lol:

Haha, they're pretty noticeable. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they basically make up the hook of the song. :P

  7. Well I'm a sucker for GnR covers so basically yes on all of them except The Stones cover, I kinda prefer the voodoo sound on the original version.

Same here, I honestly can't stand the GnR version of Sympathy... I'll stick with the Stones

  8. Honestly, If Rocket Queen wasn't so explicit with it's moaning and sex noises, I feel it could've easily been a more radio friendly song. And let's be honest here, the radio makes songs a whole lot more popular than they would've been otherwise (Obviously).

Personally, Rocket Queen is one of my favorite songs by GnR. Do you think it would've been a more mainstream GnR hit if it didn't include the sex noises? Possibly Top 100 Billboard good?

  9. 1.) Hair of the Dog - Nazareth

    2.) Knockin' on Heaven's Door - GN'R

3.) Live and Let Die - GN'R. But Paul's live performances of this song are amazing.

4.) Sympathy for the Devil - The Rolling Stones

    We share the same taste.

  10. Four Guns N' Roses Covers:

1.) Hair of the Dog (GnR vs. Nazareth)

2.) Knockin' on Heaven's Door (GnR vs. Bob Dylan)

3.) Live and Let Die (GnR vs. Paul McCartney)

4.) Sympathy for the Devil (GnR vs. The Rolling Stones)

Do you prefer the cover or the original song?

    My Choices

1.) Nazareth, overall I find there version more enjoyable to listen to and it has something special to it that makes it more appealing to me. I feel they did a better job altogether on the song than GnR did.

2.) GnR, their cover wasn't just them re-singing the song. They truly made it their own and i find it much better than the original. They sound like two completely different songs to me. And GnR's version sounds a whole lot better. Axl killed it with his vocals.

3.) GnR, this was a tough decision for me, but I feel Axl did an amazing cover of Paul's song. I think his voice was perfect for it, and Slash's guitar riff in GnR's is much stronger, which I personally like. I feel Axl put more heart into the song also.

4.) The Rolling Stones, I honestly don't get how people find GnR's version better. When I first heard it, I could hardly finish. Personally, I wasn't too fond of Axl's vocals in this one. I don't think it even compares to The Stones, but that's just my opinion.

  11. Where is this reggae clip from? The source material I mean.

Yea it was from live in Tokyo 1992. They were playing knockin' on heaven's door.

Here's the full performance if you want to see it:

  12. I remember Coma was the first GNR song I learned/translated the entire lyrics.

It was my fav song when I bought UYI1. I listened so much to it people actually asked me to skip it everytime it came on.

    Oh wow, nice share
