  1. Good idea! ^_^

    So far:

    20-04-2014 - Halestorm @ Melkweg, Amsterdam

    22-05-2014 - Eagles @ Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam

I'm not sure what else to hope for. I'd love to see Ry Cooder or Buddy Guy, but I don't have any realistic reason to assume they'll be touring Europe next year. Other then that the only absolute must see no matter the cost would be the Stones. There's still some rumours there to get my hopes up. Oh, and I also would like to see Adele this year.

To update myself here - Got Pinkpop tickets to see the Stones. Mission accomplished as long as they don't cancel. Or die. ^_^

dude i didn't know you are dutch too!

31 of may Fortarock Goffertpark Nijmegen Holland

bands as Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Slayer and Alter Bridge will perform there

and somewhere in July ZZ Top @ Heineken Music Hall amsterdam

If it ain't Dutch, it ain't much! ;)

hehehe :) ik ga misschien ook naar pinkpop if a girl who i know is allowed to take me with her!

  3. all those complaints by everyone on here tho why can't we just accept how things are, and respect dizzy's opinion?? for example i say that as a live band instrumental wise this band is better than the old band, i mean shows are more explosive and more on accurate tone and stuff these days and atleast the members don't fuck things up by being wasted

Well, I don't know I'd go down that road.

Because the old band showcased a far better Axl.

that is true but also in the 90's his voice was fucked at some shows and back then his traumatic experiences were his motivation and drive behind his performances and writing he acted out of his emotions and now since he put things to a rest things are different i guess the miserable in his life made him a better musician, but if you look at 2010 it was a great year for Axl and GN'R and it would have been better if they would've released a next album by the end of that year

  4. Dizzy: I don't know if we have anything finalized :rofl-lol: :rofl-lol:

What a fucking joke this guy is..Dizzy please just leave the band..

That has been the whole motif for the last fucken 16 years. Axl has been working on songs since at least the late 90's and a member of the 'band' doesn't even know if anything is finished. The whole band is a laughing stock at this point. One album in the last 20 years. A great rock n' roll band now reduced to playing covers and hit songs written by guys no longer in the band. Victory or death huh Axl?

i suppose Axl has accepted the Dead above the victory for some years now

  5. I don't really pick a side i mean they are both assholes to each other and both Axl and Slash fucked things up, where 2 are fighting 2 are to blame as they say, now i do consider Axl as my favorite musician in the world because he just has things that makes my heart pumping fast wether it's his voice, stage performances, lyrics whatsoever, and i just lean more to vocalists than guitarplayers, bassists or drummers because they just touch me more, and maybe that is why people lean to slash or Axl by choice cuz they more like guitarplayers than singers or the opposite. while saying they are neutral. and as for the old and new band, i more grew up with the new band cuz the Argentina show in 93 happend in the year i was born so i can't say how it was to live with the existence of that band at that time so i just like what things are like now and i like how GN'R used to be. And i don't really give a fuck if there will be a reunion or not because it's not likely to happen anyway nor wil Slash and Axl ever be friends again. but who cares? accept the things you can't change, you don't have to like em just accept em.

  6. It's a simple question, really. Do you think Steven would've played YCBM better than Matt? I think the answer is a resounding yes. And to be clear, I love Mat's drumming on YCBM. But I think as a true Guns n' Roses purist, you have to give Steven the edge on performing the drum parts for that song. Am i wrong?

i agree on that man it's kinda the same with Steven on Rocket Queen or Brownstone he just gives the perfect GN'R vibe to it and i bet he would do the same on YCBM!

  7. Of course Dizzy would avoid the question of new songs. He's one of Axl's lower level yes men. You gotta be fucking insane if you actually expect these mythical titles like The General or Atlas Shrugged to be played on this tour.

"Definition of new song" means UYI songs that haven't been played since '93 or Oh My God. Perhaps Silkworms but these other titles, they may as well not exist.

at the bumblefoot chat someone asked him to play atlas shrugged and he said he wanted to play it but he was not allowed to so i bet it does excist, he said ah man now you really made me wanna play it but i can't do it
