Ron retweeted something I wrote on Twitter.

DJ liked a post I made on his facebook page.

And at a meet and greet, I got to spend several quality minutes with Dizzy, Frank and even Axl. They were all very nice.

Plus I'm a huge fan and have been to several shows.

So I kind of feel like........well, we might not be family, but I would definitely consider all the guys as my friend.

I'm pretty sure if I ran into Axl at a restaurant he'd have NO problem inviting me over to his table to share a meal. "Hey, aren't you that dude who was really cool at the meet-and-greet in Chicago? And you've written some nice things about us on our facebook page. Come sit down and have a meal with us. And take all the pictures you want. Beta, you remember this guy, right?"

Axl's music has a deeper meaning for me than it does for guys like you. We share a really strong connection that is different from what most fans feel.

So ya. I'm just kind of friends with the band? But I really think if they spent some real quality time with me, I'd no doubt end up as part of their family and inner circle.

So if Axl hates Slash. Then of course I must hate him as well. And I really do think that someday Axl/Beta will see my Slash-bashing posts and that might be the key that gets me one step closer to being part of the GnR Camp.

AFAIK Axl's siblings are still around. There was a photo of his sister at the last Vegas residency, and I heard that his brother worked on the 2006 tour. The lack of photos might be for their privacy and personal security more than anything else, the same way we don't see photos of the other guys' families too often. There's no reason they SHOULD be in photos.

Not posing for photos but accidentally appearing by Axl's side when he's going somewhere... it's unavoidable if they were close to him like Beta and kids are.

I feel like the issue isn't him not knowing his name, it's Slash referring to him as "what's his name". He could have said Duff is filling in for their bass player or Duff was joining the band for a few shows. But he said "what's his name" which is a rude way of referring to a person.

Now I don't think Slash meant anything by it. He simply misspoke. It's still rude, but not meant to be a jab at anyone. There's been much worse things said between Axl and Slash.

I think a mistake was made and somebody reported wrong news.

I should only listen to official news and not all the rest.

The safest thing you could is NOT BELIEVE anything until you see it with your own eyes.

Insiders are BS, bandmembers are BS, TB is BS and even Axl has proven himself to be BS. (hey Ax, don't hate me, you know have given wrong info in the past)

So, the only time you should believe is when you see a new album/DVD on the record stores shelves, or iTunes, Amazon, whatever.... or when your local producer announces a show and you realize you can actually purchase tickets.

He already got married long time ago and divorced. Then he tried once more and couldnt make it. So he gave up on it.

I wonder what happened to his real family, half-siblings.... does anyone know? In the 90's they used to be in the picture and later seem to have been replaced by TB (i have never seen a photo of them ever again....)

The problem I see with the Lebeis is that they are not independent of Axl, as real family would be. They are all employed by him and we all know Axl won't work forever, so whats gonna be of the young Lebeis? (Beta will probably retire when Axl does)... I don't know if Vanessa and Fernando went to school or know how to do anything else other than be Axl's shadow. Maybe they are working with him so to gain experience to work in the future with other artists?

No "new songs" were `played in Vegas (except for some old ones that had not been played in a long time: "Yesterdays", "TWAT" and "Prostitute"). Duff McKagan guested on May 31st show.

No exclusive news were revealed either.

What happened? Was it just wrong information or did someone lie?

Personally, I think many people are overreacting, but nothing too extreme. There is a case to be made with the 'integrity issue', but all in all, I don't really care and I prefer to take this as a positive, as I stated before.

Now you mention the insiders... Maybe this was the news Subs knew, but wasn't willing to share anymore after he got attacked about the whole BBF thing

As I said before, I would have prefered Axl singing his own song but yeah, the ad its not about him, its about World Cup. Anyway, I still think it's good to see him back in the media. Its better than hiatus.

The commercial isn't great but it's not terrible either.... Yes, I would have prefered for Axl to be singing his own song instead of those soccer players no one knows, butchering PC into a rap shit. At least, they could have gotten Messi, Neymar, Beckham or Cristiano Ronaldo. But okay, that takes millions of dollars....

I dont think Slash is capable of the same hate Axl is. At least, he has not demonstrated such thing. And Axl has gone hating everyone and badmouthing bandmembers, managers, fans, journalists, media, etc throughout the years.

There's a chance Slash is bitter in a different way, for example, the "what's his name" thing. Subtle, smartass stuff. But we know he has tried to wave the white flag at Axl by going to his house, sending him X-mas cards and even wishing Happy B-Day on Twitter.

That stopped in 2012, though. Guess he got fed up of trying to get Axl's attention so now he acts indifferent. The cancer stuff is something too bad to say. I dont know why Axl lets his tongue let go like that. You don't return from such words, you know? It's really really mean. My heart shrinks of only thinking I could call someone else like that. Unless that person had killed a family member, it doesnt fit in my mind how such expression can come out of someone's mouth

Couldn't get Izzy for the revolver show, get him for one of these shows. Bring in some cool special guests. Dice is cool and all......20 years ago. Prince or Tom Petty or Alice Cooper, there are a ton of performers who would love to play a song or two with GnR. And debut a new song or two. If there really is a catalog that features double-digit numbers of completed songs, it isn't going kill or hurt a future album if the band plays something new. Even something like they did at the Music Awards show. Play one minute of three different songs in a medley.

And just when it seems like Axl's voice is in A-plus form and the band is firing on all cylinders......vacation time.

It's hard to believe such a talented person cannot get more creative than what we've got in the last 5 years.

I guess that's the rub on this band. And none of us really know exactly why things happen or don't. Does Axl just simply not want to? Are Beta/Fernando and the "camp" sheltering Axl so much that they've lost sight of reality? Or maybe all the outside organizations really are "out to get Axl." The label is at fault, Rock Fuel is at fault, maybe there really is a world wide conspiracy against Axl.

I'm no rocket scientist, I'm just a lifetime rock music and GnR fan. Yes, I could make GnR one of the biggest bands in rock music again. Because Axl is still one of the most dynamic and polarizing musicians alive. Heck, any rock manager that is halfway decent could lead GnR back to being one of the 10 biggest rock bands in the world - based on their CURRENT music - rather than them just being a nostalgic act living off their past.

Look at Axl's performance the last two shows in Vegas.

Like it or not, CD sold about five million copies. With basically no push from Axl.

Axl has the talent, the voice, the presence and a killer band behind him. They could easily rule the rock world again.

But for whatever unknown reason......somebody in the inner-circle of the band simply doesn't want to go that route.

That's terribly sad.......... there are no reasons for that to happen so I guess this force that pulls them back from glory must be REALLY STRONG. It's a shame.

I only learned the names of NuGNR 2 weeks before this residency so, can't blame Slash. Remember he didn't know where he had put the wedding rings on the Nov Rain video.

I don't want a reunion for touring cuz I'm fed up with the "old songs". If they reunite for anything, should be for making a new GNR album. But having ChinDem around I don't know how the old-line up would accept make that kind of music. At least, Slash didn't want it in that direction (now I just remembered he commented on CD but I don't know what he said). Evidently, Duff likes CD, so I have no doubts he would reunite for touring and for writting with Axl. Izzy, I don't know.

However, and above all, I'd love for Axl to reconcile with Slash, not for reunion but for the sake of his mental and spiritual health. It's not good to harbor such feelings in your heart for so long. And I hope Axl's entourage and Perla Hudson stop being asses putting barriers to this reconciliation. Just let them be!

Beta seems like a nice enough person I suppose, but it seems like she "restricts" herself in some questions. Like, she's not all that honest about some stuff. But then again, most people who like their relationship with Axl seem to be, he seems like the type that takes every little insignificant thing said to heart, so I imagine people close to him are cautious about what they say to avoid hurting his feelings. Sounds kind of ridiculous, but I kind of understand it.

That's why she shouldnt be the manager..... You can't represent a "family member" without falling into being subjective about stuff. She says she knows how to separate things but I don't know to what extent that's actually possible.
