My wife bought me one of the Appetite pieces for my birthday when he released those. It's on the wall, and doesn't look too bad. I wouldn't have bought it for myself, but it's fairly cool.

iv just watched it and in my opinion he had a few seconds here and there that he sounded pretty decent, the rest was as expected
but christ who tells this guy what clothes to wear? they need sacked, or if this is his own choice he needs to pay a stylist, infact the 3 sizes too small bike shorts from the 90s would even be better than this lol
He's one of the most famous names in rock and roll history. He's never given a shit what anyone thinks, and apparently still doesn't. That's what rock stars do.

I personally think it's kinda sad that more than 30 years after releasing an album and an EP (even if one of them was groundbreaking) with these other four guys who kicked him out of the band and barely even acknowledge him anymore, Steven still won't move on. It's always about AFD with him. Therapy would do him good. No joke. Like man... the moment you set in stone that your best years are behind you, that's it. And he did it so early
What else does he have?

I would advise him to skip one in a million and do one for Civil War instead.
but I'm not his advisor so what do I know?
He did one for Civil War in his Appetite collection.

So would you say it's much more likely to see actual seats plummet in price rather than GA?
I got pit for $60 for Detroit and Chicago last tour. Detroit dropped a few days before the show and I believe Chicago was about a week before. I could be off a day or two on that one.

I haven't even looked at pricing, but have read many people surprised by how high tix are. Are nosebleeds really $100 a piece?

Damn. I may not go then. Chicago is a good 3-3.5 hours from where we are at in MI.
Detroit is 2 hours from where we are at, far easier to get to, and slightly safer?
Will talk with my dad about it, but we may skip this tour if no Detroit show. They have played there for so long, on nearly every tour.
Detroit sold terribly last tour. We got pit tix two days before the show for $60 on TM. The upper deck was maybe 25% full. We did the same for pit at Wrigley. I'm going to hit a few of these shows, but I'm not buying tix until a week or two before.

i would like to see them in a arena with roof.. Not stadium
Agreed

Why would they be playing Wrigley Field again. They had to discount tickets in a big way two years ago. I think we got pit for $60 a week before the show.

I really believe that Duff bitched about Frank. If he really meant it, I cant say. Probably no and did it just to make Matt feel better .
Duff is not the saint he likes to make people think he is.
There's rumours that he was the one that stood the most against Izzy share of the money and receive a flat rate salary.
So I really do believe the part that he was pissed about Izzy
Didn't Izzy play on Duff's EP less than a year before?

Just saw Anthrax on Friday...that band still rips!

That's because they've had 5 years of Paul Stanley. They're probably eulogizing and the performance on the vince neil forums too
Haha, that was the first thing i thought as well.

It's interesting...I was reading something on a Kiss fanpage similar to this one, and someone started a post about Axl at the memorial and 90% of the people commented on how good Axl sounded.

I was 11 when Appetite came out, and 6 months later, we were all Gn'R crazy in junior high school. At that age, Axl and Slash were all that mattered.
-
Love it, as well almost everything else on that album.

We went to Lollapalooza in '07 mainly to see Pearl Jam again, and saw the Stooges before them. I had very little interest in PJ after that set. Iggy is an incredible frontman. I'd like to know if Duff is playing Iggy's show in Chicago in March, or if he's just doing the west coast shows. It's just a one off show at a new venue, so I'm guessing he's probably not.

I really couldn't care less about anything Rolling Stone puts out these days, but how is Chris Cornell not on that list?

Yeah, but Steel Panther is basically the new Spinal Tap. They're not actually a real band. It's just an act.
They're absolutely a real band. Yes, they parody the glam scene, but their sixth album is coming out in a few months. They're all tremendous musicians. Russ Parrish can play circles around the majority of guitar players out there.

Nah, Estranged is a masterpiece. It should be played at every show.
