By the way...Axl joining Elton....Big IF but Elton has had "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" in his set this whole tour after a long absence....if memory services that's one of Axl's favourite EJ songs and of all time....he used to do it on the piano before NR too, right? Just a thought, if he did join him, maybe he could do that...It be a moment!

The sunset time in Pilton tonight is exactly 21.30...as the boys (and girl) start. I do like a set in the dark. So most of the 2nf half should be lit nicely by the light show.

2 hrs 15....but I've read that the soft deadline is 11.45pm and Glastonbury clear the fuck off curfew is 12.30. so they may be able to push it a little more...we'll see I guess.

So earlier was just having a bit of fun with setlist roulette...in all honestly it's likely to be a bit shorter and close to what we've seen so far on the tour. Even if that's the case,.we're getting a historic moment (hopefully for good reasons) in UHD and for one moment, GNR will be the most talked about/watched music artist in the UK (for 2 and a bit hours) Also, even if we think we know what to expect and no big surprises, it's fair to say, this tour has been a lot more unpredictable than recent years, even dropping Brownstone for a show and stuff like that....so that lends itself well to not knowing what's quite coming next...making it more exciting than knowing it inside out.

Well there's quite a few comments that studio were apparently responding to, at one point saying it sounded great, "like classic GNR"...that would be the weirdest way to describe current live material. That's how you describe a type of song. So if that post was accurate and not a mock up,.it was as many of us hoped....
