  1. It’s only my opinion, so for fear of being unpopular and/or publicly ridiculed here goes.

     I’m not fussed.

It’ll probably make its mark in hardcore GNR land, and I can accept that.
but honestly, it’s no better than the previous songs thrown out there , to me… it’s just apparent that these guys are so far past their peak creatively that throwing this kind of thing out there just makes me sad.

if there’s people out there that love it, that’s great… but for me it’s just junk. I’m happy to live in the past when it comes to this band (and plenty of others) and it’s not really a knock on them… everyone gets old or the well goes dry or it just isn’t as good as the hits or whatever…

I’ll still love em, but not for these releases.

  2. I think it’s possible there’s valid arguments on both sides of the fence here.

Most parties involved in GNR over the years could generally be classed as shitbags.

the band members, the management, the hangers ons… theres a million examples of shitty behaviour from all of them towards each other, so defending any of them makes literally no sense to me.

What the fuck do you know? That's right! You don't know jack fucking shit you fucking ignorant, know it all, fucking deluded, misguided, self important, self righteous, pious, small minded, clueless, loud mouthed, arrogant cunt. No one needs your opinions n' having to deal with your constant abuse of privileges or the miniscule amount of power you've had here you wield like an angry, lesbian, wannabe, high school parking lot rent-a-cop always mouthing off like you're some kind of authority which you're far from. I have to say it saddens me you continue to babble your horseshit to unsuspecting fans n' any names n' numbers you have are of people like you who try n' hurt others to promote themselves at their expense. That's the only real thing you got bitch. It's like Revolver's if not edited, cloudy recollection of events as I've never asked for anyone's shirt bein' thrown out of anywhere let alone say I did but hey he won a contest so he must be credible, whatever, no good deed goes unpunished. I don't work for you or have to do a goddamn thing you think ever. Your opinions of anything whatsoever don't count or mean jack shit to me or anyone in this camp. You're garbage, plain and simple. You're not a fan or a voice of reason... you're a sick n' diseased mind spilling it's bile over the internet. Well now you can drink up the rewards of the crap that's been spillin' out of your pie hole forever here n' enjoy the fermented, feted n' vulgar response you've been cultivating n' aching for... for so long . Find another board this one doesn't need you. Oh n' feel free to jump in all you wanna be web warriors, ho defenders n' bitch boi's, you ain't needed either. For the rest of you... Surprise gigs comin'!!

  4. I’m going to this one!!!!
I went in 2017 and it was about 47 degrees that day! Got wasted and had standing general tickets and don’t remember much of the gig! Plus being shorter I didn’t see much!

purchased diamond seating for this one so with any luck I’ll get to see the show! If I can behave on the beers! 🤷‍♂️😉

...I guess it's early still and I might be cranky, but the who gives a shit about Adler promoting Nixxi Sixx's book and who in their right mind cares if Slash's kid liked the post.

This post might be a joke flying over my head, but if not! that all needed to be said🥳

Hypothetical posts you should care about from Adler, which would deserve a dedicated thread "I'm back! see you next year #GNFNR" until then all other Adler related discussion should be left to the other areas of the forum dedicated to past members and or social media.

Ummm I agree that this thread is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

but you shouldn’t get so emotional over it 🤣

    it’s just a thread bro 😜

I do not understand the mentality of thinking what was leaked on the Village Sessions is all there is just because YOU heard it. It doesn't mean he hasn't been working on material since. Also people seem to always forget how long gnr classics like November Rain, YCBM, Don't Cry, Back off Bitch, etc sat around before getting released. And yeah there is no pleasing you all. They finally release music and this place is toxic as ever. lol I honestly don't think Axl gives a fuck if you like Absurd or not he and GNR are gonna release what they want to. You are not in control so sit back and enjoy the ride. Enjoy the fact that our favorite band is putting out music again and is still actively touring.

    Is that you jarmo?

Not one of my friends/family have had anything positive feedback on it today.. All of which are fans.

Same mate, all of my friends who are big GNR fans think it sucks.
It’s brutal but it’s the truth.
for people who like it, I’m glad, but for the majority, its shit with sprinkles on it and that’s being kind. Lol

amen... honestly I don't mind them working on some of Axl's ideas but this was just terrible.. Not only is it a terrible song but the fact that it is the first single and Slash and Duff have no creative input and are just playing their replacements parts makes it worse..

It has all the terrible aspects of CD in it.. Terrible mix.. Over produced.. Stupid samples.. That slow part is horrific..  They could have made it decent by re-doing it completely and changing some things to give it more of a Guns N' Roses vibe but they didn't...

It just stinks of a chicken coop mate 🤦‍♂️😂😉

I would wager that 99% of concert goers are not buying tickets based on the setlist at the first show. These are casuals, they want to hear the classics and have a fun night out. Whether a new song is included has little importance to them.

i agree. I consider myself a hardcore fan like anyone else who resides on this forum, but im not deluded enough to think that the majority want a new song, they just want the hits.
