  1. Neil Winters’ daughter Lily had ovarian cancer 10 years ago or so and the whole storyline was so well done. I think I actually liked it a bit better than Sharon’s cancer storyline so far even though the actress is nailing her scenes.

Nick and Sharon were high school sweethearts and were married for a decade or so until Nick had an affair with Phyllis 15 years ago or so after Sharon’s daughter and his adopted daughter Cassie died in a car accident and ended up having a daughter with her and leaving Sharon soon after. They’ve had a few teased reunions over the years, however, including when Nick ended up cheating on Phyllis with Sharon and had a daughter with her. Two almost trips down the aisle have also been spoiled by Phyllis coming out of a coma to reveal Sharon changed Summer’s paternity to Jack instead of Nick and Nick sleeping with Phyllis the night before another almost-wedding to Sharon.

  2. Beyond devastated that stupid Kyle and Summer got Theo fired from Jabot. Really hoping Jack comes to Theo’s rescue, but I just don’t know.

Nick and Sharon shared a lovely scene together. I’d love these two back together but I’m torn because Rey is such a good guy to Sharon.

Looks like the Billy/Amanda/Lily triangle is full steam ahead!

I don't mind these love triangles, keeps the storyline on its toes lol. Nate is such a good guy, hopefully whoever he ends up with treats him right. I am definitely feeling the chemistry between Billy and Lily though!

Plus Victoria might want Billy back if she see him torn between Amanda and Lily:lol:

Speaking of Summers parents...what are your thoughts on that? Yes...they are horn dogs lol but no one can make Nick smile like Phyllis, so that is nice to see. We will see just how long it lasts though!!! Just like Kyle and Summer....probably not too long.

I've always preferred Phyllis with Jack and Nick with Sharon. Rey and Sharon have really grown on me, though, so I guess I'm okay with Nick and Phyllis if it means Sharon and Rey can remain happy together. A Phyllis/Nick/Jack love triangle could fantastic now that I think about it, and a good throwback to how Summer was conceived;)

Are you ready for a Billy/Lily/Amanda love triangle because I definitely am. Maybe Nate will lose interest in Amanda and find his way to lonely Victoria?;)

As was mentioned he was on a ton of shows back in the day. One in particular that I remember is the cult classic The Night Stalker.  He played an out of control werewolf running amok on a cruise ship. Hilarious stuff.

That's sweet. Don't forget he also played an awesome villain in one the Planet of the Apes movies.

No yeah you are right in that aspect like a real date...its just that he is *always* there like they are already dating or something. you know?

    Theo just can't resist Lola's spinach empanadas:P

I do love how Theo has put so much thought into their first date and appears to be a true romantic while Kyle and Summer just seem to be mindless sex like her parents.

I always thought that from the beginning but maybe now Theo is actually developing feelings toward Lola...but either way it's too early! Lola is just getting over her marriage breaking up...no need to be with Theo right away. Come on!

Theo and Lola are taking things pretty slow, if you ask me. They haven't even gone on their first date yet while Kyle is off boinking Summer.

I'm sure that will be coming! They both LOVE getting under each other's skin.

I'm worried Theo isn't completely into Lola, though, and a big part of his attraction to her is that it gets under Kyle's skin. I also fear Jack is going to cut Theo off from the family once he finds out he's working with Kyle's secretary to dig up dirt on Kyle.

Carlitos Way is good but its a bit...thin.  Its one of those films where performances and pathos make up for a slight lack of plot.  Its a good film though, I really like it and Sean Penn really does steal the show.  In the original script his character was meant to survive but De Palma weren’t having it.  I think it would’ve been a more substantial statement if his character had survived.

I don't find it thin so much as perhaps cliche-heavy with the whole subplot with his girlfriend. Stuff like the prison escape and the shootout to at the train station made it a bit more engrossing for me than Scarface. Also love the opening courtroom scene where Carlito trolls the judge mercilessly and the pool hall scene where Carlito says to the one guy, "this shot will make you give up your religious beliefs"

Total Recall is based on a Philip K. Dick story, the same who wrote Blade-Runner (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?) and Minority Report. Good adaptation. Arnie at the height of his powers also.

I watched 1917 but I was half-pissed at the time.

    K. Dick also wrote the story for Paycheck, which has a horrific film adaptation with Ben Afleck.
