Ozzy's never been a "put pen to paper" songwriter, Robert's not a pick up the guitar songwriter, but he goes into the studio with song ideas and lyrics.

Ozzy comes with some melodies and a line here and there, and leaves it up to Geezer or whoever is in his solo band to flesh the song ideas and lyrics out.

Axl's brought songs to the studio that had chords to them so he's not just a frontman with a mic, he's a capable musician, the majority of November Rain is his and it's one of their biggest hits.

It is always interesting to find out who actually wrote the songs (who wrote the melody, who wrote the lyrics) when the band shared the songwriting credit. Sometimes it's not who the audience expected.

Axl is a different and sad and an annoying Case, when Axl hired people for Chinese, all of them used to go in the studio to record and Axl hardly showed up, everyone has complained that Axl hardly came up with lyrics or melodies, November Rain is an awesome track, but Izzy and Duff were the back bone in writing stuff

Axl and Izzy were band`s primary songwriters not Slash or Duff. Majority of songs originated from those two.

Duff also did alot of songwriting and im talking about the CD ERA, everyone said that there no lyrics provided by Axl for years, he hardly came up with any lyrics at the "beginning" when Robin, Josh Freese, Tommy, Pitman and Reed went in the studio to record, they kept on recording for 2 years, but there was hardly anything

As being a Pilot, this is sad news, whenever I fly I have a big responsibility, Ive flown cargo and commercial also, whenever there are passengers, I do have that back in my mind that there are people and their life depends on me

Ive flown Airbus and Boeing, the difference is that Airbus is more computerized and the plane flies itself, you just have to fill your Route in the FMS (Flight Management System) and after the take off you just turn on Autopilot and everything is done by the Autopilot, this technology is even there in the newer boeing aircrafts

As this is a mountainous region, they would have turned on the autopilot, but after the captain went out, it seems the first officer turned off the autopilot and wanted to crash which no one knows why, he had a good flying record, he had around 650 hours in this aircraft type which is not bad at all

Riad and Scrapped are my leave favorite songs from Chinese, I thought Axl wanted the whole album to sound like these 2 songs, but Im happy we got some amazing songs like Better, Street of Dreams and This I Love

The last part of Ron seemed pretty rude, yeah he is a good musician and all, but people know him today cause of GNR, the interviewer dint ask about his status in the band or what is Axl doing now, he just asked general random questions

I guess Ron is pretty hungry for interviews just about his solo album and going crazy promoting his album, which is not bad, but General questions about GNR or the project with Scott makes the interview more interesting

Heard CD played once on Irish radio. Afterwards the DJ said that Axl's voice was gone. That was it. Never heard anything from CD on the radio again.

Never heard CD on the radio, I heard Paradise city, even that was edited, after the song the DJ/RJ said this was an amazing song by Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff Mckagan and Matt Sorum, I was like STEVEN ADLER NOT MATT SORUM YOU IDIOT

I heard Sweet Child on the radio too, but my family changed it, they dont like rock music, which is pretty sad

Slash would kick Axl's ass if they were to fight. Axl is all talk. Has he even been in a fight? No. He hides behind his security and his lawyers. This talk of him being the last great rock star!? Well if you talk about Axl's band then ANY NEW music will be good to hear, as for other bands, sometimes singles help people to look forward to the album, most of the songs were already played live before CD came out, so that took out the fun too, when I heard the actual album in 2008, I already knew half of the songs

So at this moment anything NEW coming out from Axl's band would be good to hear

Sometimes I think everything just goes back to $$$, Right now Slash is doing shows, the audience is great, when it comes to dividing the money, ofcourse Slash is taking the most % then it myles then the other band members, when it comes to VR, they will sell out the same amount of Arena's as Slash's band, but Matt and Duff will take a much more % than Slash's current drummer and Bass player.

So I guess Financially for Slash, his current solo tours are better than VR, he only does shows here and there with Duff and Matt

I dint know about the Woodstock 1999, but Rock Am Ring 2001 was cancelled cause of bucket, they could have just hired another guitarist to fill in, But Axl looks for an opportunity to delay and not show up and then blame it on others

Doing a big show like Rock AM Ring without Bucket would've been a bad idea IMO.

Axl was trying to promote the new lineup, and Buckethead was a key player.... If they did a big show and had a fill in, that would've made the band seem more like a revolving door of musicians instead of a band. Not to mention, Axl had to replace Slash with someone better, and that person was Buckethead. New GnR had to be better than the old lineup, more recognizable, and better musicians, and Buckethead was the key to that.

Not to say Slash is bad, I'm not saying that at all. But Buckethead vs Slash, I'd say Buckethead is a better overall musician.

Well Axl eventually replaced Bucket with Ron, I know ur not saying anything bad about Slash, but it makes no sense to compare them, Im a fan of bucket and i really like his work, he is an amazing musician, but Slash is good too and both of them are good in their own ways and have their own styles, When you see Guns N' Roses as a band, then only Slash comes in my mind as he contributed to the band, but well when i Listen to Shacklers or the new stuff then bucket does comes in my mind cause he did an amazing job, its sad bucket is no more in the band, It would be better if Axl just changes the name of the band

They wouldnt have played Woodstock 1994 cause I guess everyone was tired of touring, they toured for 2 to 3 years, so they dint wanted to do another tour or show, Axl dint wanted to do UYI Tour in the first place

MTV unplugged with the Classic line up or illusions line up would have been amazing and I imagine it would be one of the best live recorded performances like the Ritz, for SNL thing wouldn't have worked out cause Axl wont even show up in the first place
