So Adler is planning to tour, who will go and see them? I saw Steven with Adlers Appetite and he really rocked, there are chances of him canceling these shows also, but I hope they dont get cancelled

yeah lol, its pretty hard to imagine what steven could do, I wrote barber, but really I dont know if he can be a barber or not lol, I remember watching Matt during the illusions tour and he was chubby that time and he had curly hair, so that time i was like man this guy looks like a Butcher lol

Izzy and Slash were always on good terms with each other
To a certian extent, there were a couple of interviews after Izzy got kicked out where Slash said he preferred working with Gilby:

Even though the band always sounded cool, Izzy and I never sat down together and worked out guitar parts. We weren't really a team, in that sense. We would just jam, and he'd play things his way and I'd play things my way. And even though Gilby is essentially playing Izzy's parts, he adjusts them so there is more of a sense of unity - more of a sense that we are playing together. This isn't to put Izzy down in any way, it's just that Gilby and I have a different relationship.

Yeah ive seen this interview, but Slash and Izzy never had bad blood, when Izzy left in 1991, Axl talked crap about Izzy in some interview, then in 1994 or 95 when Izzy wanted to rejoin GNR he had gone to Axl's house and Axl was like in 1985 u did this and u did that, then I guess in 2000 or 2001 Izzy had gone to Axl's home but Axl dint invite Izzy to come in
But well whatever it was, I would like to see Izzy doing a couple of shows with Slash and Duff again

Some people claim that Axl still reads this boards, and that he even posts stuff on an alternative account.
My question is, what makes you think that he would choose to come to this specific forum? Or are you saying that he does this in all the big GNR forums?

I think he probably reads and perhaps posts on all of them. I mean, wouldn't you? If there was a forum where people discuss my life and my work I'd definetely read it all the time and post there.
And the fact he comes here is known. Mods and admins have said more than once. Which is no surprise, really. This is the biggest and most significant forum out there. Every now and then some other forum pops up and steals some of the spotlight, but eventually they die, while MyGNR stays alive.
Actually, a few years ago when this forum was struggling, they helped.

Axl did come in here in 2008 and other GNR forums, I guess he owns a laptop and knows what is twitter and Youtube, so I can assume he would come here sometimes and see what is being written, Maybe some one who always talks negative about Slash and always defends Axl could be the Real Axl Rose
Well, I don't know who exactly "They" are. It's someone from inside. Team Brazil, if I'm not mistaken. A few years ago when MyGNR was about to die they put some money on it in order to save it. Which is why censorship was absurd at the time, they were all over it. So many people were banned, for the most stupid reasons... Even I was banned
That was when Guns N' Fn' Roses appeared, gathering all the banned members.
So it was the dark ages of the forum, y were u banned? lol, the current admins rebelled and got it back from TB?

Yeah Izzy came out to do a few shows for VR, he was even in Paris and performed Used to love her with them, the thing I dont get is that why Izzy doesnt comes and does shows with Slash now? When he can do some shows with Axl, then y not Slash?
Maybe the money is better with Axl? I also think Axl and Izzy were always closer than Izzy and Slash because they knew each other from childhood in Lafayette.
I think Izzy just does what he likes when he likes, there's been a couple of occasions in '06 and maybe in '10 when Axl's said "Izzy was supposed to be here tonight".
Yeah at the moment Axl and Izzy are on good terms, but there were times in the past when Axl and Izzy's friendship went sour many times, Izzy and Slash were always on good terms with each other, Yeah Izzy likes to do things whenever and wherever he wants, I guess Axl and Slash know that Izzy can bail on them anytime, Even Axl said that he will just do some songs here and there with Izzy, There r more chances of Axl working with Duff than Izzy
Im a big fan of Izzy, but he doesnt seems like a reliable person, but well I would love to see him to do a couple of shows with Slash also

It's the other way around, actually. Duff called him brother.

Scott said he doesnt wants to do anything related to this album, he dint go in the studio with Ron, Ron and others send songs to Scott and Scott recorded his vocals and send it back to them and he did some photoshoots with them
So if they tour, Ron would have to find a new singer or most prob he will sing himself cause he wont tour to promote his and this album separately

So they wish Jarmo and Beta Happy Birthday, but they dont care to wish Slash or Steven or Matt or Robin or Buckethead Happy Birthday who contributed so much to the band, really that guy who handles the page should be fired, the "GNR" social media pages have become a big joke now
Perhaps they just want to focus on those that are important to current GN'R?

I've often wondered what I/we could get for this after getting it all framed and mounted. (Note, it is not for sale)
The story is on the main forum somewhere, but long story short this (as in the autographed mic) was sent to me by the Hard Rock Casino after the Appitite for Democracy residency in 2012 after we had the mic that was tossed at the end of the show taken away from us by security and I raised holy hell about it here and on a few other GNR message boards. I took care of acquirig the pics, room key, and ticket stub, and getting it framed as seen.
It's been PSA authenticated, and has all sorts of documentation that it was a stage used mic that was sent to me by the Hard Rock Casino in LV.
This is awesome man, how did you get the mic back after the security took it from u? If i had this thing, I wouldnt sell it, its a thing to be kept, but well if im broke and in really need for cash, I wouldnt give this away for less than $1000 to $1500, I know no1 will even pay more than $500 for this, but well its pretty awesome u have it, I have drum sticks signed by Steven Adler and ive kept them safe, I will never sell them

Here is the link to the thread from back in 2012 that got me/us the mic back. Almost 3 years later, and it's still one of my favorite stories ever. I will always be indebited to this board for how it helped me out.
I will tell you right off the top that this is worth way more than $1,000-$1,500 though. For one, the mic itself, brand new out of the box is like $300. The framing was like $400. (The plexiglass is 100% custom made and took like 6 weeks to receive) and the PSA authentication was $100.
With all the documentation I have to prove it's an actual stage used mic (the thread above, the packing receipt from the Hard Rock, etc), the autographs, and the framing there is no way it's only worth that much.
There is only one real way to find out though, and neither my friend who I gave it to nor myself have any interest in ever actually trying to sell it. It's gonna go to his 1st born son, which was the one requirement I had when I gave it to him.
After reading about your thing, I would NEVER put it on sale, Its pretty bad what you had to go through, you really fought till the end, I know what you must be going through, A security guard also mis behaved with me and was pushing me, it really spoiled my mood, really whenever I think about it, I feel like to beat the shit out of that security guard.
Im happy you got the mic back and I hope when ur friends first born understands the value whenever he/she grows up, for the Actual Value in $$$, its really hard to tell, I dont think so there are hard core fans who would pay for a mic from the recent shows, if it was from the UYI or AFD Era, then the price would be way higher, ill give u an example, Erin Everly had many personal letters from Axl and many other personal things of Axl, but they dint get a very high price, the letters got sold off at $3000 or $4000 only or I guess more less, so really i cant say the value of your mic, btw that framing is very expensive man, $400 for it lol
But well according to u what would be the value? I know you wont sell it, but take someone else who has a similar mic with the framing etc etc, what would be the total cost?
