I wish there was something Izzy and Steven could do on their own. To me that would be bad ass rock n roll, but I cant imagine what that would be. I dig their Do You Love Me cover but I dont know how they could honour the anniversary on their own.
Steven and Izzy would sell to a big crowd of us die-hards lol.

I don't expect it, but yes, I'll be bummed.
But don't expect ONLY the five. Axl will at least get Dizzy in (which I'm fine with, though many will disagree), and Steven/Izzy would be idiots to turn down an AFD+Dizzy show.
If anything, I bet we'd get AFD5 plus several guests.

You realize, now every time someone you don't recognize posts on here, it'll be like, "Um... this person could be Izzy."

Man this was better than the tone we heard with Lafon and Mohr. Less damaging.
-
I've looked for these too!!

I could barely get through Jay Mohr. First and last time I've ever heard his podcast. WAY out-interrupts Adler.

Any links to this interview yet?

This is not fair. Its like asking would you rather jump off a mountain or be hit by a train? Neither of them.
But if you HAVE to choose one, and the mountain is a prettier view than the train...

I joked earlier with the Izzy meme (because that money could have gone to the "loot" he demanded), but for real, I don't have an actual problem with her.
I mean, who would you rather watch, her or Pittman?

There's a video somewhere of Slash and Dizzy rocking the outro to "Locomotive," and it's awesome. Dizzy and the piano are fine.

If we aren't getting the AFD 5 at any point anyway, we might as well get some truth from interviews from Matt and Izzy too.
I can't help but think that Duff isn't comfortable with there still being bad business between GNR and his other buds. He was probably the one who called Steven because he cared about him the most. His 2 books leaned so heavily on getting ALL of the guys back together, so he's probably not happy.

Wtf... he said everybody thinks he got kicked out for drugs and that wasn't why and he was tricked?? Oh my god, he blamed Axl ...after this I don't see him ever getting to play with them again...
I LOVED this interview until that... then I HATED it.

Not having a flash on my old phone to take a pic when my wife and I got to hang out with Steven Adler one night (profile pic is taken a couple of hours later with his autograph on my shirt)

If you want to hear just about every possible VR/Axl mashup, check out a YouTuber called 5agge. That dude's got some crazy good stuff on his channel, including a 2012 remaster of "Crash Diet."

An Izzy book could be interesting though.

Forgot point
Definitely! I was raised country, but I bought a bass in 2011 after reading Duff's book. I practiced a ton of GNR songs to learn (I still can't play Rocket Queen to save my life), and I performed the bass, piano, and vocal parts for my country/rock album that was released a year ago last Saturday. I have a song called "We Go Hard," about the main bar strips of Texas and Louisiana, which was inspired by "It's So Easy."
You can check out my music at @GarrettSmithTX on FB, TW, and IG, and my YouTube Channel is below.
**EDIT** I sold my Silvertone at Christmas and bought a Les Paul... I mean, we all know who plays those...
