I eventually assumed it was a shirt from the new york hardcore band since Axl has seemed to like "underground" stuff from time to time but, just now, in getting to the bottom of that, that wasn't the case in the early 90s since the band, kill your idols, only started playing in 95, so, couldn't have been that (wouldn't be surprised if the band got the idea for the name from Axl's shirt lol).
Sonic Youth has a song/ep named Kill Yr Idols. I'm not sure there is any connection, I just think Axl liked the phrase.

I’m not here to try to say why he would wear that shirt because only he would know but GNR’s whole brand back then was just being controversial. Why would he wear a Charles Manson shirt? Because he’s the lead singer of “the most dangerous band in the world”. I doubt he was trying to make much of a statement
Axl had a persecution complex and those shirts were his statement. He even grew a beard to fully send the message
Am i joking? I don't know.

If all this over a hot air balloon imagine if China started militarily surrounding the US like the US is doing to them!

That sounds excruciating.
I have to agree listening to David Lee Roth babble for 3 fucking hours should be illegal as it constitutes torture

Joe Rogan would have no idea what Chinese Democracy is whatsoever.
Beyond that i doubt any interviewer would know much or care to ask many questions besides the Appetite pod. I'm curious to know about the era too but would bet answers would ruin the whole mystic when it's revealed that he wasn't doing much of anything. According to Josh Freese they resorted to making balloon hats out of boredom waiting for Axl to show up
I think the best forum for Axl would be a book but that is probably even less likely.

What are you talking about he attended one in The Dead Pool.

Howard is good if you want to know about Axl's daddy issues.

An in depth long form interview from Axl would undoubtedly be amazing.

You spent all night realizing the very common knowledge that Axl was a dick?

We don't know if Izzy was asking to re-join the partnership. Do we even know if they were offering him a full time gig?

I really couldn't care less about anything Rolling Stone puts out these days, but how is Chris Cornell not on that list?

Don't release One in a Million. It won't go down well and certainly won't age well
I'm pretty sure he was told that but Axl was being Axl.

Is there seriously any possibility that slash would just show up with his guitar??
Always found that hilarious.
It would be a weird thing to do but Slash did do allot of weird things.
Like showing up to Axl's in the middle of the night and shitting on his bandmates to the nanny over the intercom

Yeah my understanding is that it was a quick video they shot because they had all the stuff rented already.
I don't think it's a bad video. It fits the punk quality of the song. It didn't need to feature Axl riding a dolphin

Can we talk about ticket prices?
in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS

I agree with you. I appreciate smaller venues with younger hungry bands - tickets only costing $15-$30.
Most of these legacy acts aren't close to being worth their prices and sorry to say that GNR is a shining example.
