Google tells me that Nostalgia is...

a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations / something done or presented in order to evoke feelings of nostalgia

This threeunion with the FOUR ALIENS (FOUR! Its more ALIENS than members!) fails miserably at "evoking feelings of nostalgia" and fails miserably at bringing any "happy personal association with the past"

Listening to the threeunion with the FOUR aliens is actualy disenheartening

Fortus has been in the band 14 years, Frank 10 years, Dizzy 26 years. Melissa is the only one who's out of place. Most of the fans are familiar with the other members.

Axl's always had a good natural voice but after the NA tour, I think our guy has gone pro.  Pro but still has it's own unique, natural sound.  That coach did good.

I think so too. He was most likely sick or just had to rest his vocals, but it sounded like he was phoning it in for a couple shows there.

  3. What they're bringing to the stage is amazing right now. Their shows don't cater to any of us fans who sit on our couches and watch on Periscope. Would you prefer that we go back to the NuGNR era with DJ Ashba and Pittman?

  4. Slash has always been a guy who, at least on stage, does his own thing and let's everything happen naturally. I can say from experience that there are gigs where you just get lost in the song/set and standing there and not interacting is what feels right at the moment. As long as the chemistry is still there and everyone is kicking ass, the other things will fall into place.

This, however it has ALWAYS been like that and in fact part of the draw for me way way back.  I don't want GN'R to be perfect!

I wasn't around in the band's heyday, but the reason I got into them was the unpredictability from the old days. You never knew what was gonna happen next! They weren't perfect, but dammit, they stood out.

The amount of negative fuckers on here, makes me want to vomit.

Complaining about negativity in every other post is just as bad as being negative about the set, Axl's voice, etc.

But that's none of my business, I guess :shrugs:
