Agreed. Things are calming down around here and getting more quiet, who are we kidding, if Izzy and Steven joined the band on stage, we'd finally get another 200 plus page thread in here :P

Seriously though, it would get people talking and get people excited. I would absolutely pay to see it, a hell of a lot more than I would for a lineup with Frank freaking Ferrer in it

I love the reunion, and I'm satisfied with what we got last year. I'm just saying, that was "it". If they all of the sudden get Izzy and Steven back in the fold full time, it won't be a fraction of the hype or hoopla that came last year.

No but, it would still be cool. And it would be better to do that, then not do it at all. It'd sure as hell be better than just continuing playing these same old songs with the same old set list since they clearly have no interest in changing that. I just completely disagree with this notion that it isn't worth doing now just because things didn't go down the way someone thinks they "should have"..

  3. Don't care what the price is, name it and I'll pay it if the AFD5 get on stage.

Idk... Probably whatever the price is now for a nosebleed. They already blew their chance at doing the reunion right initially.

I may not even go to the arena show in the fall because tickets are so pricey, if it was the original gang Id def go for at least a nosebleed

 Let me see if I get this straight, they blew their "load" by just not doing it the way you think they should have but, if they still do it you'll go.

Sounds like it isn't too late if ya ask me :headbang:

What does that even mean? I'm sick of people throwing around the insult "snowflake". Fortus is a FANTASTIC guitar player. Is he as good a writer as Izzy? No. But is he a "snowflake", or in other words, some kind of pussy? What are you on about?

"Some kind f pussy", yeah that's pretty much the idea. Dude needs a safe space because he's afraid of words. I asked him where Izzy was on Facebook, and his response was to block me.

I said nothing about his playing. Nothing was said abut wanting him out of the band. Nothing even about being a fan of his. But he overreacted anyways, because he's a snowflake. At least Dj Ashba thought enough of the fans to step aside.... and he's a great player. Fantastic is over the top, his chemistry with Slash isn't as great as originally hoped

What if Trump called Axl and said, 'I'll resign the presidency if you put out a new album'

We would have a kick ass new GnR album out by next week!

I woud still be willing to bet that Axl would still refuse to give his fans what they want, which is new music. Idk what it is about that topic but, he really wants t avoid it all costs. Give it a shot though

New drinking game- every time the "interviewer" says cool, take a drink. If you can get halfway thru the pedal board, seek alcohol treatment...

It was pretty interesting though, 100% thanks to Richard being cool about it...

Should have made a drinking game for every time Dj Ashba screws up a GNR solo, during his time in the band.

If hitting a piñata is a violent message to whoever the piñata depicts, then I apologize profusely to Dora the Explorer, Donkey Kong, Mario and all bumble bees.

Explain that to CNN since they're blackmailing pro-trump supporters, for literally doing the same thing. Trump hasn't hurt America yet, in the least bit, like it or not. The left is doing mor damage to themselves every single day. Those are the facts

thIt is rather easy to boycott Guns N' Roses, isn't it, considering they never release anything? Boycotting something implies something to boycott in the first place!

This appears to be the most accurate point of this entire thread so far

Dear friends on the Mygnrforum.

    EcWtK3.gif

So I just got back home from a perfect trip to London and Gdansk. It was fun to watch Axl 3 times in a row because I could easily compare the different shows and it seemed like he just got more and more energy for each show!

In all the excitement, especially from friday night's show in London (june 16th), I made a quick post about a wonderful experience from friday night's show on my private FB page and also a GnR fanpage I'm a member of on FB. It got a huge respons and I also see the video is getting viral now, where Axl blows the kiss during "This I love". Well, that was to me and my friend so I figured why not just share the story with you guys as I see many people wondering who it was for (and why) on different pages around the internet. I even see fans thinking it was for Sasha... oh well.

The night before the show me and my friend was thinking of making a banner, writing something funny to make him laugh. Then I came up with the idea about writing "Axl, blow us a kiss? <3", but didn't think he would do it though! Just thought it would make him smile.  Now here's the funny part: we made the banner on the floor of the hostel we were staying at, and when we removed the banner the permanent marker had gone through the sheet we wrote on and it now says "Axl, blow us a kiss?" on the floor:rofl-lol:. Luckely, the people in the reception laughed at it too and said "don't worry".

We were queuing for 8 hours and got to the rail, at the end of the catwalk. Now, my friend is a bit shy so she was nervous about showing Axl the banner "what if we bother him during the song??" haha, but I kind of had the Duff attitude "no f*cks given", and she kind of joined me eventually. When "This I love" started I just felt it was the perfect song. If you watch the video on youtube, you will see him looking down and smiling as he reads our banner (after he sings "so if you ask me why, she wouldn't say goodbye" and is adjusting his rings or something(?). Then he continues singing. And my friend was like "OK, he's seen it, let's remove it now...let's not bother him", but I said "let's wait!". And as he stops singing, you'll see the "Axl blows the kiss" clip that went viral.

People around us were cheering for us as it was fans we'd been talking to before the show and they knew about the banner. And other fans behind us were tapping on our shoulders asking "what did it say to make him do that???"

The sequrity though... right after Axl turned around and started walking away, one guy in a black shirt came and ripped the banner out of our hands like we did something illegal. It's funny, we weren't even holding the banner UP, just straight forward to not bother anyway or block people's view. We even asked the sequrity before the show, can we show the banner? they said yes! So I don't know who that guy was. But he took our banner away. After the show I asked to get it back as a memory, but they couldn't find it. I'm sure that guy threw it in the trash.<_<

On saturday, I saw sequrity jumping over crowds to remove banners and even in Gdansk this one guy literally jumped me to get a banner behind me (I was in the same spot as friday and saturday in London, infront of the catwalk at the rail). Even Axl shouted in the microphone then "HEY, stop, STOP" to the sequrity guy jumping me, they were just too rough. I get it, don't block people's view. But I didn't see any of that though. Just people wanting to show the guys some love.

And in Gdansk I also managed to shake hands with Slash after the show! But he said "no pictures". Right after we shook hands, he walked straight into the glass door of the hotel, face first, haha!! You can see the video on my instagram page, just search for "stinefiskaa". I feel bad, but I couldn't stop laughing after.

I'll add the links to the video where you can actually see him looking down in the beginning and read our banner. (You can't see us though). So if anyone has any video from an angle where you can see us I'd LOVE to have it!!

Next show for me is Copenhagen and Stockholm. See some of you guys there perhaps? And feel free to share some of my story, if people ask about it.

I'll add a picture of me and my friend Hanne that night at the rail (me in the white hat). ☺

    Slash rocks and Izzy rolls.

The intro solo to Think About You. The Brownstone riff... his PC funky verse riff... his RQ chorus chords, the SCOM arpeggios. EVERYTHING.

It's just so hard to Slash isn't great without Izzy. But, as a GNR fan, it's tough to argue that Slash can create anything great without Izzy at his side. Same with Axl.

They need Izzy back more than they realize. Shame Axl still can't figure it out...

I really like Ozzy. He's a cool guy. It would be fucking cool if he did something with GNR.

He won't work with GNR. Half of the peple in this version of GNR, he insulted and said wasn't GNR. Mostly, because it didn't have Slash, while he was working with Slash in 2010. It is what it is but, I would hoe for some work from GNR first before other collaborations.

Then again, maybe Ozzy and Axl will cover Ironhead. After all, Axl loves covers :P

Arena shows are always better period. Better sound, for the most part better atmosphere as everyone is crammed together more. the staging and lighting always looks better in an arena. It's just better

No, arena shows are just better because the traffic to exit at the end isn't as bad..

If Axl is such a musical genius then it is the craziest thing in the world that he has released so little music in his 55 years on this planet. It's absurd.

This. If you're creative, you share your art. Axl has nothing because he has the worst therapy sessions these days apparently... if it looks like a duck, it's a fact
