  1. They may disagree with each other in the past but a lot can change 25 years later. All of them are in a different stage of their careers compared to back then. Slash and Duff have released so many records between the time of leaving and rejoining GNR. Just because Slash was not keen on the direction Axl wanted GNR to go back then, doesn't mean he's not up to try them now.

    Has this been discussed yet?

I click and then shows that video isn't available.

Same here. I'm guessing probably scheduled for the morning is US. Duff's twitter already has this but just a min long. It's just a looping medusa from what it appears to be, not really a legit music video.

  3. Am i the only one who likes Silkworms? Yes it's weird, but that's the whole point. Axl was enjoying the heck out of it, and even called it a new song. I think even if you dont like the song, you can be very optimistic about new materials.

Just imagine tho. We’re all watching the livestream. Hes sounding amazing, on fire, finishes up LALD. He plays You’re Crazy with heaps of rasp. Launches straight into PTU. The stage goes black, we all hear “we’re gonna try something here.” Then for the first time ever we all hear Hardschool live. Can you imagine the forums at that exact point?

The forum will be like "All we get after all these cash-grabbing tours is a 20 year old demo?!?!?!?!"

I always thought Corey Taylor was overrated as fuck. He's a generic grunting idiot in Slipknot and then a generic bro rock/post grunge singer when he doesn't grunt

He's great but very inconsistent on his materials. An album from Slipknot or Stone Sour will usually get you 3 or 4 good songs max. Very hit or miss. But when the good songs come, they are insanely good. Check out Nero Forte. Best song from him in recent times.

This is turning into what happened when the Stone Roses reformed in 2012. They milked their fans to death with an endless touring cycle with a promise of a new album on the way.

In the end they split up again and the album never came out, and all we got was 2 pretty average songs. Will we even get that with this GNR reunion I wonder?

GNR seriously need to AT LEAST play one or two new songs live in this upcoming 'next chapter' to give fans some proper evidence that new material is being worked on. Otherwise there really should be utter outrage towards the band and management.

We already have 2 "new" songs. Shadow of Your Love and Rock the Rock. IT'S TIME TO ROCK & ROLL.

  7. What got leaked recently were from the period between 1999 to 2001, am I right? Im pretty sure a lot of them now have vocals on them, as well as a lot of new songs which we don't even know about. A creative process is not as straightforward as hard labour. By having a good instrumental does not guarantee a good song if Axl has no inspiration for it.

Was listening to The Black Keys on the Joe Rogan Podcast and the drummer had a pretty interesting insight where he spoke about how record companies screw over bands by shelving their records and giving suggestions for the songs for their own agenda. I'll recommand you guys go have a listen.

I know the solo in Back to the Moment isn't quite 'worthy' of inclusion but I feel compelled to give it a shout out because while it's on the short side and it's not complicated or busy, it's FULL of feeling.  I happen to think it's one of his most 'feeling all the feels' solos.  It's like a brief spasm of pain.

IMO the beat ballad from his non-gnr materials.
