I just hope Axl releases CD2 as it is back 2014 when he said CD2 and a remix album is ready. It feels like unfinished business and best to just get it out.
The optimistic me would like to think that eventually, they will release something, but the realistic me have comes to terms with no new music from this band. The fact that Dizzy, Duff (Walking Papers) and Slash (SMKC) all have an album out while the tour is on is a big indication.
Edited: Year of the interview.

Slash's fingers would need to be amputated after the tour then.

I like it. Catchy riff from Slash and Myles has some good melody on it. It's the SMKC we've come to expect. I hope people realize this and stop hoping it will sound dangerous like GnR.

Wth is going on these few days?!

Silkworms is worth a listen as it's the only studio version we have, while OMG sounded like a demo to the 1999 release!

@Fernando
Thanks for coming on here and answering questions! That's really cool of you.
Axl mentioned a few years ago that CD2 and a CD remix album are already done amd ready. Obviously the renuion happened around the same time and plans have changed. Will they ever be release? Or are they still being work on? Thank you!

Sydney prices were starting at $80. Guessing Melbourne would be the same.
Cool! That's not too bad. Might just pop by!

To be honest I thought they were pretty solid. Singer's not as bad as some people are making it to be. I'll be in Melbourne the same time they're performing. Might just go and check them out if tickets are reasonable.

Loving SOYL! Came out of nowhere and it sounds incredible! Hope more tracks will receive the "enhanced" treatment.

I got into GnR late due to my age (28 now) and was extremely thankful that I got to see them live a year ago with Slash and Duff. Broke the record for the biggest rock concert ever held in Singapore. An album now will really give me nothing to complain about, but I'm just happy Slash is at least making an album with SMKC. So yes, im happy about the current situation, but moving forward, they have to release something, and I still believe they will within the next year.

Great that Slash is hard at work. At least we are getting some great tracks from SMKC. Still thinks GnR will put something out eventually when Axl is ready. Maybe his potential involvement in AC/DC's next album will push him to make a GnR album.

Huh? I always thought Izzy was responsible for the structure in the SMKC songs...
Stop acting like Slash isn't capable of creating a proper song on his own. Myles may helped here and there but his main job is to write the lyrics and the vocal melodys AFTER Slash sends him the music he has written.
My point is Myles contributed a lot to SMKC and should be respected although his voice might not be the best suited one for Slash's style.

Myles' voice lacks aggression and power to them. But you'll have to give it to him that he sure can hit all the notes, and not needing to worry about a cringy performance which Axl gives on certain songs such as TWAT. I remember from some interview which Slash did saying that he choose Myles due to his professionalism and his ability to hit all the notes to his catalogue, as well as helping Slash piece together his ideas into proper songs. So without Myles, there wouldnt even be structure to all the SMKC songs.

the first or second Album?
1st one is really really good. Just hits after hits. Took me a few years to dig Scott's vocal performance. Messages from second album (bonus track) is one of my fav song from VR. Although you should really give his SMKC's AL album a try. Great as an album with great groove and melody.

Velvet Revolver. Althought personally there are some good tracks which I love from Snakepit.
