Really good phrasing in solo, no unnecessary noodlin', well chosen notes. This song is growing on me big time.
Needless to say, I think for the first time in SMKC history the bio of the songs can relate to actual music.

Just listened to it using AnonymoX add-on (Firefox) and dutch IP xD It's the first time in a long long time, that I don't like the song but dig Slash's solo. It may grow on me though. It's not the epic ballad (like Battleground) but the radio-friendly one that should be compared to Bent To Fly... and it can't match I'm afraid.

Well that's interesting! I thought it's gonna be a full 45 min video from this session, not yet another scenography. Plus I haven't noticed Slash's talkbox untill now.

Myles Kennedy's songwriting is discount Shinedown radio rock, not an ounce of creativity contained. But go on.
Ignorance indeed is a disease.

I always wondered which song they'd do. Starlight to honor Myles/Slash collaboration (their first song done together)? Anastasia? Ghost (I think Axl would sound good on this)?

678k on official video, 43k on lyric video. How it's going on spotify?

I hope they'll release it in full lenght and play it live

Here comes the biggest argument of them all, I'm dumb, curtain. It's not like Axl has no breath control, can't hit the notes and catch up with the tempo, It's me who's dumb.
I can't intellectually follow this conversation anymore, obviously you brought me down to this level, but surpassed me in experience.

654k, slowing down a bit, but it will reach 1 milion I'm sure!

It's been 30 years when he was on his game. I know your standards are pretty low but even 2006 was bad.

Slash was selling out arenas for years dude. And considering Axl touring arenas with GUNS N ROSES as a success while he should be touring stadiums is ridiculous.
"Creed was a bigger band than Alter Bridge is and probably ever will be." so was backstreet boys, I cant get your point.

It's very likely you did, but you don't live in Europe, don't you?
Musically Creed compared to this is like Mac 'N Cheese compared to Beef Wellington... Ofc it may be tasty, but you won't let everybody know you cooked this It's really interesting how much these guys were holding back their skills in Creed.

30 of which were sold in States, I can't recall any Creed songs in the radio neither in late 90's or early 2000's, besides Higher and With Arms Wide Open of course. Their music was basically pop, compared to Alter Bridge, even Mark is aware of that, band knew they were limiting their possibilities. Stapp is now barely filling clubs dude while Tremonti sells out small arenas in Europe. Limp Bizkit was way bigger in EU back then.

Much smaller than the previous band of Myles bandmates.
Explain because I can't understand the sentence

There is no way Bucket's Nightrain solo is anything close to an "abomination". But I guess you can't expect Myles Kennedy fans to have decent taste.
Being a fan of a 8 piece circus with Mickey fronting it is an example of having good taste in the first place.

Im afraid you're not aware how big Myles/Alter Bridge fanbase is.

This is the riff that any guitarist would like to write at some point of his career, it has everything. But I think the most underrated Slash's riff is 'Always On The Run', most of casual music fans don't have a clue it's been written by Slash and Lenny takes the credit. Most of Slash's riffs are well known, we could rather point more songs and solos that are lacking any recognition (I Hold On, Nothing To Say & Mother Maria - those solos!, Crucify The Dead, Unholy, Beneath The Savage Sun, Battleground and The One You Loved Is Gone - why the heck they didnt release it as a single?). Considering collaborations this is barely known and Slash never looked so badass like in this vid:

Slash has butchered plenty of his own classic solos over the last few years, nevermind the solos he's covered, but his fanboys give him a pass because "he's a legend" which means everything he touches is gold.
Yet he wrote them and he can fuck'em in the ass if he wants, exactly how Page did with his LEGENDARY solos live.

So 'some' consider ChD stuff as classic as AFD/UYI? Damn that hit me hard.

Still a minority here. And I really doubt about their hardcoreness.
