In my opinion the 'lost' GNR album is the one that should have been between Appetite and UYI. One more straight ahead rock album before they got into the epics.

I love Move The City but I kind of feel like it's meant to be an electric song. This version is cool but the song kind of loses a bit in the translation.

I think when it comes to this band, if you find yourself thinking 'this couldn't possibly be as lame as it looks, there has to be more to it' ...it probably is and there probably isn't. This  really is just stupid merch and hashtags about their plane.

People want hits but there's a lot of bloat in their set.  Lots of stuff that could be cut/swapped out for other songs.

According to documents obtained by 'The Blast'  lol okay. This is what sucks about news in the internet age. Every site shares everything. So you see it's from msn and that looks pretty legit but it turns out it's actually from 'The Blast' and who knows what the fuck that even is.

If the figures are real, though, what it shows is just how rich Slash is. That he could think this is a positive way to end this can only mean he has a fuckton more money.

I have no doubt there is some crazy stuff on their rider but unfortunately the Mirror didn't bother finding out what any of it was.

Lafon sucks as an interviewer anyway. Even if it had been Slash there wouldn't have been a single decent question asked.

Rod's version is actually a cover itself. The original is by a group called the Sutherland Brothers. Obviously it's Rod's that Guns are covering, and I do think that's the best one, but the original is good too. If you like the song you should check it out.

Led Zeppelin had JPJ play keyboards on songs where it was needed. Mostly he played bass. UFO had a guy who played keys and rhythm guitar. Rush of course had Geddy Lee.  If GNR had a utility player like that it might be cool, instead they've got those two banging away up there through the whole set.  And on lots of stuff where they're not needed. It looks stupid.

Shadow of Your Love is supposed to be a fast song. I find the the newly released version too slow. If you listen to the 'wake up' version it's  a lot faster and it sounds great. So it's not really the tempo, but still Frank just plays it wrong.  I'm not a drummer so I can't really put my finger on what it is, but if you listen to that demo version with Adler it rocks like crazy. And when Frank plays it it doesn't.

Axl was good on Shadow of Your Love.  Frank was not.

Those Duff shirts are embarrassingly awful. How does he not know how terrible those are?

It's cool seeing the new footage but looking at the videos back to back I really think the old one was better.

Yeah, actually we do know. They tried to lowball him and dick him out of his fair share.  And he refused their offer. That's what happened. You can pretend that isn't known, but in actuality, it is.

It's bullshit what they did to him and in no way do I buy the idea that the 'big 3' are entitled to more because they 'nurtured the brand'. It's total nonsense. Everything that brings people to the show, every single note of music that actually makes people shell out for tickets, was written and recorded while Izzy was in the band. All of it.
