I’m a fan of Shacklers Revenge in a live setting. I wish they’d tweak that one up a bit and bring it back to the set. Axl could do it vocally and seems like Slash could add a killer solo to the end. I just think it has good energy for the set and that’s the one thing I think the setlist needs most in the middle towards the end.
Same, SR is one of my fav CD songs. When was the last time SR was played live?

Haven't found any current live streams.
Wow, stadium not very full. However it was a massive stadium. How was the Absurd crowd reaction?

Best album closers for me are Prostitute on CD with the drum beat then quiet instruments, AND the combo of The End and Her Majesty on Beatles Abbey Road album. Just classic.

I always thought the chorus in the Bumblefoot version was absolutely brilliant musically.
The chorus is built around the chords A5 and D#5, which is a dissonant chord-interval (tritone). I thought the way how "with a bitch like you" resolved into the D#5 followed by the lead-guitars was just epic. Generally, having such catchy vocal-lines over these nasty chords was an achievement on its own in my opinion.I will never understand why this chorus was replaced with the monotone yelling of the word "Absurd". But then again, who cares. Luckily, 3 versions exist (at least to my knowledge, excluding live-versions).
Apparently someone made another remix inserting 'bitch like you' line into Absurd

It'll be interesting to hear about crowd reaction to Absurd tomorrow night, and general audience reaction to it.

Don't think they'll debut Hard School until Nov/Dec as they'll try keep all the emphasis on Absurd. Hope I'm wrong though. I thought they would never release new music. Feels like the 2007/village leaks all over again. Such an exciting time to be a gnr fan

Pit tickets are now $59.50, apparently.
Does that mean the tour's not selling very well?

Also #7 on the overall charts, charting between all the Ed Sheeran The Weeknd Justin Bieber etc., lmao. What a time to be alive.
This chart position is amazing given I would consider this a C-side song................... at best. We can assume that an album is coming which I'm excited about

Yeah, I've always loved the remix version of Silkworms more than the original version.
The original chorus was kinda cringy. I'm not saying that the new version is a lyrical masterpiece either, but I like the simplisctic approach of it.
It reminds me of Prodigy's very simple lyrics and also the energy of the song is very reminiscent of Prodigy.
It's a fun song that doesn't take itself too seriously.
What's the remix version, is that bubblefoot one?
Definitely think Hardschool would have been a better choice for first new song. Does anyone know if OMG could be on the cards? Any which way, I complained about no new stuff, and here we are, so I'm not complaining

No doubt that's USA dollars. Can we do like installment payments? Know that sounds stupid, but in our dollars it's like $21. Can definitely raise over 4 pays.

I thought it was shut due to new leaks/released music or something, and the influx crashed servers.........dont know why I torment myself with lofty ideas of new music

There may be something to this considering Mike Clink produced the Rocketman cover. Maybe he did the new SMKC album too…?
That would be cool if he was.
However, there was never going to be another GnR record, unfortunately. Its been 5 yrs since reunion, why start now.

Bought my Red Hand copy off ebay, love it. I have it stored in a box next to my second edition Butcher record.
Like everyone else, mine is still wrapped. Anyone know where I can see the Red Hand high quality booklet scans would be appreciated.

Do I hear some more leaks happening?

Love the locker version. I love the lasers, loud drums, vocal melody and bass. One of my go-to songs from the locker leaks, especially Josh drumming. IMHO, the locker version is my no. 1 song to open my fantasy chinese democracy album lol

The hype for the Vegas trip this time 5 years ago seems insane. It's killing me that was half a decade ago
That Vegas trip was a dream come true. The meet up at some casino bar the night before was awesome, and hanging out with another hardcore fan dressed as young axl...... good times.
Half a decade and no new music, does Axl realise he's wasting valuable time?

So the best we can hope for is more leaks than new material?

So, new tour in Oceania announced today.......... Does that mean the album is on the way..... Or, they need more money? Anyway, isn't Smkc recording album next year?

I want this, and it seems plausible, but wouldn't they want to capitalise on a longer touring schedule before releasing an album? My guess is HS November, then release album before European tour. Thoughts?
