Just got back to the hotel from the gig. What a show, great from start to finish. It's hard to believe it's been 25 years since I saw them last.
I have big thanks for two people - First, Russ, for his hospitality today at the party and the coolest basement I've ever seen, and second, ZoSoRose for selling me his ticket at a loss when he could have easily kept it on Stubhub and made a lot more money. It was a great day in large part due to you both.
It was cool meeting the rest of you - putting a name to a face is always nice.
Now it's time to get my ass in bed. I'll be up in 5 hours for work. Phooey.

On my way over Russ. Should be a 35 minute or so drive.

Hopefully the merch stands will have some of those Detroit specific shirts left by the time we get there later on. I'm tempted to run down there on lunch and see if I can get one at the merch trailer but not sure if I can spare that much time -

Newcastle Brown Ale, good stuff. I just made it into town about an hour ago, already slaving away at work. See you all tomorrow afternoon -

Wednesday would be perfect for a dress rehearsal, as I'll be across the street for the Tigers game that night. I might have to wander over and snoop around beforehand.

I'm pretty sure that's a picture of Roger Waters stage being set up, not GN'R.
Correct - Mr Screen is visible and it looks like some of the bricks for the wall are already set up.

Oh I'll start at 4am my friend. I'll just need to schedule Nap Time at some point during the day is all lol.
Maybe I should stop in before work as well as after, start the day off properly . See you in a few weeks -

Just picked up a ticket to the show. Floor section D, row 2, seat 5. Woo hoo!. I should also say thanks to whoever got refunds on their tickets way back when - I think this show was sold out a couple days after the original on sale date.

I was just going to say that. I think Slash fires a harpoon through the window of a boat instead of a dummy, then Liam Neeson freaks out and calls everyone incompetent. Haven't seen that one in quite a while.

Solo: 7% COMPLETED
I think you may have been correct with that 7% completion percentage. Holy crap. Are we up to 50% yet?

I would totally do that! Speaking of you getting in the night before, let me know if you need/want lodging. You're welcome to the same set up you had last time.
I also missed @DanielCT in my original post but I think he's looking at late afternoon, early evening for arrival.Yes, in the afternoon - my best guess would be 4 o'clock but I'll try to make it earlier. The earlier I can get out work the better. As I said a while back that place is a ghost town after 3:30-4 o'clock, and it shouldn't take too long to get to your place from there.

To be honest fans, I'm not fucking with you but my source has been slightly upset with my leaks so I'm not as confident as I was out of the gate with the US Summer dates. My Dallas date changed due to AC/DC scheduling and a couple other things got screwed up but I've never brought you wrong information intentionally. You also heard it first from me that the Chinese Democracy songs were being played (a lot of you laughed at me then!). I'm doing what I can to get you the information you want. The truth is that this operation isn't the most organized outfit and I doubt Axl's interest in being a part of AC/DC hasn't made things easy on those planning the tour. Like all of you, I'm a huge fan who likes to go to as many shows as possible and I want the info before everyone else - it's much easier and can be less expensive if you're booking flights and hotels before 70,000 other people who may be flooding a city for a concert.
Thank you for all the information you have given us - it's very much appreciated.

Yes please
I've had very little time to look so far due to a crazy work schedule, but I will try to get some information to you before the weekend is over so you can start planning.

Its section A, row 21. Closer to the center Aisle so its a good view. I paid 285 but will sell it to a forum member for 200!
And I actually opted for a hard tocket so I can mail it to yoi, meet up, or give it to you at the show
I'll take it - sent you a PM.
Thanks!

Want to buy my ticket? I'll give you a good price below face!
What section - how much? Thank you for offering, it's very much appreciated.
Also, can you transfer the tickets through the flash seats website, similar to what you can do through TM? Then have me pay you through that?

My GA ticket came today from TM, so hopefully all of you waiting for your tickets will get them in the next day or so. It's a nice shade of flourescent green instead of the usual TM red and black color scheme.

In which hotel are you staying?
I'm probably not staying in a hotel as I have some family that lives in the area, but I can take a look at what's around there if you'd like.

Going to Philly and NYC! I will try to add DC and maybe another show, if I can.
Same here, if I can get tickets - NYC & Philly. You can still buy Buffalo tickets through the venue website, but if the gig is late enough in the year (October/November) I worry about getting one of those lake effect snowstorms while I'm heading out there. I'd feel better having a ticket in hand though. I think once the first few European gigs are in the bag and people see how well Axl does (hopefully) then it may be fairly tough to get tickets to the shows here.

I saw them in Detroit and it didn't seem as loud as I expected - unless that's because I'm old and losing my hearing. I've definitely heard much louder.
