Yep, great review, by the NY Times no less. I do have to say with each review/video/audio I see I'm getting more and more excited by the hour to see this tour. Unfortunately I have to wait three months for the first one of my shows -

I just did a quick check on TM to see how sales have been at some of the stadiums here in the Northeast. Most of what I've checked looks pretty good. Most of the tickets in Foxboro and Philly are gone. MetLife Stadium in NJ only has single seats left. Toronto is sold out apart from the usual resale tickets. DC has quite a few left; maybe 2/3 of the stadium has sold. Not too shabby!

That sounds great. Particularly nice since I'm going to see David Gilmour tomorrow night in NYC. Richard and Slash do seem to fit in very well together.

I picked up a pit ticket on Slash's side for Philly. All the tickets that came up before that were way at the back of the floor. I kept throwing them back then the pit seat came up. Same thing with Foxboro during the Nightrain pre-sale - junk for 10 minutes then the pit ticket popped up.

Same here about being a line waiter. I'll probably leave super early in the morning so I can beat the NYC rush hour traffic. It's about 3 and a half hours to the stadium from here in CT. 

If I can get a bank to offer me a 1,000 year mortgage I'll take it.

I had that a couple of times before I got my ticket - I refreshed the whole page and I was able to search again.

Just pulled a PIT ticket on Slash's side for the Philly show. This is after getting offered junk for 10 minutes straight.

That's what I'm trying for - pit on either side, or something in the first few rows in one of the 3 middle floor sections. If I can't I may just wait until show time get closer and see whats out there on Stubhub, etc.

It seemed like a crapshoot getting tickets during the Nightrain pre-sale. I managed to get one each for both of the shows I wanted, but a lot of people couldn't get any. The ticket pool must have been pretty small compared to some of the other pre-sales. Hopefully there will be a decent amount available during the public sale. May try for Philly tomorrow if I can pull something close on the floor.

You don't need to sit in the pit - I think the row and seat numbers on the pit tickets are just a way to keep track of the number of tickets sold. I had U2 GA tickets for a few shows last year and those tickets were the same way, but it was all standing room if you had GA.

A club gig would be great. If I get wind of that I'll be setting speed records on I-684 and I-95 getting down there. 

I certainly wouldn't complain if they added another date at MetLife Stadium. It's probably the easiest of all the tour stops for me to go to a show - my mom and sister both live maybe 15 miles away so there's free lodging, train service that I believe I can take from the town they're in (River Edge) right to the stadium, etc. There are 4 open days on either side of the current date, so I can't see them not adding something in there, and I can't see it being a second date in Foxboro.

Nightrain - this was the first song I ever heard GnR perform live back in 1991 in Saratoga Springs, NY. It brings back a lot of great memories from that night and my life in general around that time.

My preferred show would be 7/14 in Philadelphia.

If anyone wants GA PIT tickets for the show, TM is showing them available now on Duff's side of the stage. These are regular GA PIT tickets, not VIP.

My pit ticket was just a regular pit ticket, not the vip package. I got it about 10 minutes into the sale. I assume someone had it in their TM cart and let the time expire, releasing it back into the available tickets. Probably just down to good timing.

My God, that's fantastic. I had a good laugh at Slash's post but this is just great. This should be on one of the official t-shirts at all tour stops.

That sounds like a great idea. I may drive into the city in the morning then cruise over to the stadium from there in the afternoon. Hopefully they'll add a gig on the 24th. 2 days in a row of GnR would be great.
