  1. Or... GNR was touring until Dec 22 and picked it back up in the summer of 23. Myles was on tour with Alter Bridge from Nov 22 through the Summer of 23. Slash had downtime between legs and Myles wasn't available.
  2. At least he played the guitar live and the solo wasn't mimed like this year's halftime show.
  3. Thanks for sharing. Just speculating, but they probably recorded his riffs first and tried to fit the bass/drums under it in a grid leading to the off-timings from matching a drum machine to a human who may not have used a click track to record.
  4. The Nightcrawler linked earlier in the thread sounds kinda like some parts in the soundtrack for that pinball machine as heard on the video below. There are definitely parts of Speed Parade in that soundtrack as well. It's hard to hear over the pinball noises to discern if that Nightcrawler demo is morphed into this, but the main riff and solo of Speed Parade are in there. P.S. That Nightcrawler demo is wild. The drum machine backing track gives it almost industrial vibes. Thank you for sharing, Rindmelon.
  5. I'm pretty sure Izzy only plays the lead part which is the intro. The solo in the middle is still Slash. Izzy does play the solo on the recorded version of Double Talkin Jive.
  6. There's also that snippet of a demo of what became Back and Forth Again that has a whistling melody, presumably by Axl. I believe that it was played in the documentary for the making of the Estranged video. As it was only a snippet, there could be a longer version.
  7. Great song. I think that Myles would work well on it, adding a bit of "tenderness" to some spots to make the vocals more dynamic. I'd hope for Back and Forth Again. It is in my top 4 (Watch This, Slither, Come On Come In *No particular order). It has one of my top Slash solos including GNR. Heck, I think that they could take that recording and have Axl re-singing Dover's vocals, with Duff re-doing the bass, and it would be a huge hit.
  8. I'd guess Lyrics, Vocals, Drums, Harmonies, Bridge and they might indicate what needs to be recorded/worked on.
