Oh no, I was unable to get tickets for the 16th, was really hoping for a second show   Do you think they will release any more tickets closer to the date?

700 tickets out of let's say for the sake of argument a 14000 seat arena (which is very conservative...probably closer to 20000 than 15000), but for my argument, that's 5% of the seats.....not exactly "a lot" and at least half of those will be sell by the day of show with another half of those gone by showtime.  I speculate when it gets to 9:30 on Friday (when ticket sales shut off on StubHub), there will be no more than 100 seats left. 

I do hope so! But if not, i'm going to have to find a way to sidle downwards out of my cheap seats..damn the exchange rate!

There seem to be ALOT of tickets left on vivid seats and stub hub..will they sell this close to the date? It would be horrible if they weren't playing to a packed arena..

I had to as well. I just assumed the big three of Monte Carlo, NYNY, and MGM were all fine. Not amazing, but fine. I realized I was expecting nicer rooms than I think Vegas has to offer unless you're getting like expensive suites. So yeah, it basically was the reason I stopped looking at the cheapest places and figured I'd stick with one of the bigger names (those 3, Luxor, Excalibur, Hard Rock, etc.) cause it was driving me mad to keep looking. Monte should be fine and its where I'm staying too.

Cool! You're right, it will be fine AND it's right beside the arena! No chance of me getting lost on way to or from concert, haha.

I had to stop reading all the reviews on trip advisor, you can literally drive yourself nuts..I'm hoping some of the bad reviews for the Monte Carlo were wrong, too stressful to start looking around at this point!

Ya, I don't believe there is any "ive got something to prove to Axl " going on either..if anything, I think it is the other way around! And if you think about it, after not speaking to someone for over 20 years, even if you reconcile and put to rest any animosity, it's going to take a little while to really warm up and get back into the ol' groove of things..for the record, I think Axl is trying really really hard, and we will see even more camaraderie in Vegas. And speaking of Duff, did you see how fricken happy he was out there!! My God. Makes me so stoked for Vegas..and I still have high hopes for Steven, as long as "back injury" isn't code for..I can't even say it..

What I get more upset about is it really seems Slash is just going along with whatever is happening. Duff too. No Izzy, no Adler, new girl keyboard player, Chinese songs and no other solo or VR songs, rest of the band being made up of NuGuns members. I want these guys to succeed, but it seems there's ALOT Slash and Duff are doing to appease Axl and not much Axl is doing to appease them. But maybe thats just me. I expected at least some compromises, but it just seems like Slash has joined NuGNR which is beneath him frankly.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm quite certain that sometime around 3:00am last night while I was trying to stay awake and follow everything, I read that the setlist was chosen by Duff and Slash..and that Axl said "See? Im agreeable, I'm an agreeable person" in regards to this. So that is what I'm choosing to believe ha! And I think that Axl will respond in kind and do a VR song in Vegas..

Good grief people. It's the most amazing time to be a GnR fan! Why try to ruin the excitement? Irregardless of where they play their first gig, (L.A or Vegas) irregardless of whether or not Axl is going to do some side work (which Slash and Duff do all the time) and irregardless of whether Axl has gained some weight over the years (big deal) these Vegas shows are gonna be killer, so let's just enjoy the anticipation!
