I'll Wait was never one of my favourite VH songs, but hearing it live in 2012 totally changed my feelings for that song. It was a pleasant surprise when I saw them.

It seems the full tracklist is now on iTunes. The song 'These Walls' may be the Colbert song, since it lists Bilal, Anna Wise, and Thundercat as features. But we'll see.

Not sure how I feel about that either. Definitely not what I was expecting.

It's nice to just have a song with a kickass riff that defines the whole song. But you're kidding yourselves if you think Muse are really taking those lyrics seriously. I mean, just listen to how Matt sings the chorus. Not exactly meant as a serious song.

Meh, I like it. Simple is good sometimes. I highly doubt this is indicative of the entire album, but we'll see.

Matt said the first single might be out sometime this week because they were busy mixing it. I think it's called Psycho. Anyway, good news!

valley of the dolls - fates warning

It is a stunning album. I just received it from Amazon yesterday. The whole album has this really interesting mood. Starts off a little lighthearted, but it just gets darker and darker as you go on. A lot of spots remind me of Signify/Stupid Dream-era Porcupine Tree, which I am in love with haha.

Moon Above, Sun Below has such an incredible ending. I crank it every time. I love how Mike can end songs on heavy and softer notes, and they're always well done, no matter what.
