Don't get me wrong, if I see Axl phoning it in I will criticize him to the hilt, but he gave it all he could.

It was probably of a similar level to the last 2 Vegas and Philly shows, maybe even a little better in places.

What is wrong with some peoples obsession over uber rasp? I mean I listen to AFD and I don't hear any of that uber rasp people seem to get off on...hmmmm....even all the other albums there isn't that much of that brutal rasp...

Axl's voice was fine, it had peaks and troughs for sure, the songs after Coma were a little weak perhaps, first parts of YCBM and RQ weren't that impressive....but overall I think Axl gave as good as could do, if that isn't enough, then I'm sorry for you that you'll miss a great concert.

Amazing Paradise City....it sounded like the Hellfest 2012 version which was beastly good!

Just remember this, we have got end of tour Axl from 2014 tonight....at the start of the tour...let that compute. He wasn't this good on the 2nd show on the 09-10 tour....only Hammerstien competes IMO.

Axl sounds fine to me...Sure his voice gets thin here and there, but its not bad at all to me. Im not gonna expect him to have rasp 100% of the time. its not being realistic to expect that from him

Yeah I think your right, for 54 years old and the style of singing he does, this has been perfectly acceptable showing, Axl certainly hasn't let himself down like he sometimes has done in the past (Rio for example)

Nightrain and Jungle are two songs you can always depend on Axl brining his A game.

Nightrain, as per normal, bringing the rasp and the power.

Vocally sounds like Axl's got his second wind.

Love the way Axl and the band mixed up KOHD, that once again a very different version.

THAT ending by the way, wow Axl held that note for an age!

Here comes an old school KOHD, hope it sounds something close to the soundcheck!

So cool to see Slash on November Rain again, nailed that performance.

I think he is a little wobbly on NR myself, he was the same on the last Vegas show of 14 as well. its a little more stable as the song has gone on.

I think he is obviously doing the best he can, he isn't booking it which is some thing he could be accused of doing in the past.

With that being said he does sound a little more strained now...

I think Coma has taken the edge of Axl a little, not really that shocking is it!

I suspect he is playing it safe so he doesn't blow his voice out totally before the end. Very similar to a 2006 show thus far...and also Vegas 2014 to be fair.

Take a bow Axl, you dug VERY deep for that one!!

Please can people STOP talking about mickey, its his clean voice and if he uses it so he can sing like he did on Coma....who actually cares...its in NOT 1991 anymore for goodness sake!

Axl's gone back to beast mode fior Coma...this is reminding me of 06 shows, he could do clean or rasp and switch it up however he wants. Awesome!

Well that whole instrumental section from Rocket Queen was amazing...as someone said the best of Nu and old guns there!

Loving Axl's vocals on Rocket Queen, its clean with a undertone of rasp, plus he doesn't sound breathless at all thanks to sitting down. The band is killing it.

Someone has turned Frank into a mini Adler!

Really who cares if he sings a little clean at times, I'd rather he did that rather than blow his voice out half way through a set!

To be fair it sounds strong and he is clearly trying...its totally different to some efforts of the past.

Its a wicked set so far, its not too dissimilar to Vegas 2014 BUT CD is another level up and DTJ was amazing.
