Most big bands do this in the sunset of their careers, but Gnr skipped the best part of their careers and went straight to ripping off loyal fans, and to tease new music after it has been teased for decades is bloody disgusting, to trade what they had for greed still blows my mind

If you follow Gnr on Facebook you get stuff they are releasing to everyone first( only happened a couple of times but I was messaged about SOYL one day before rest of country heard it on radio, they don’t release shit so I only have that one release to base it on

For what it’s worth, on my lunch break I checked Facebook, and there was a pic of Axl at philly spectrum 91’ and it said “ happy to give you this whole concert during this event” I went to here to verify it and went back and it is gone ? So who knows what’s going on ( it was definitely from Gnr, officially .

I wouldn't be able to call him or Slash and ask if they wanted to play with me. The GNR machine had taken them back. I knew I wouldn't be able to rely on those guys any longer. For the first time, I felt completely on my own.

But the album has so many problems...Imagine madagascar with a real orchestration...instead we got very cheap sounding synths...i can't stand the sound and production of CD. It sounds like an older album, which was re-recorded many many times. You can see that Axl lost track, when he made +0,5db versions of CD stuff. 

The album is interesting in terms of ideas. But the production is awful and so is Axl's voice. 

The Rock the Rock voice is better. Its far away from old Axl, but at least listenable instead of the Mickey Mouse voice.

 

Amen to that sir( guilty pleasure is putting ‘rock the rock’ in at work and I pretend it’s a new album single.)😉
