Keep hearing this about his alimony. What kind of deal did perla get? they were divorced before he joined guns, her settlement would have been based on his GnR royalties and his SMKC earnings. And if somehow she managed to get a % of everything else he earns on top of that, its hardly going to be more than 10-20%, people keep this myth up that slash is in GnR to pay his $400m dollar per month alimony. I don't even remember this making the news, it seems to be a myth spoken as fact that slash has an extortionate alimony check. I'd love to be shown how much it really is, coz he must have earned over $100m for GnR 2016-2020 plus SMKC stuff

The 2006 version of Axl was his peak as a vocalist. Absolutely blew everyone away every single gig that tour on every song.

Was good to see a properly shot live gig, it was download festivals cameras and mixing, hence the good quality of the video. It's just really sad reading these comments about everyone thinking Axl sounds good. It's like we're so desperate for him to sound good, we'll take absolutely anything. He sings like he has a sore throat and has to use mickey to not hit the sore spot every single line.
He's 56 (in this vid) so I think this is as good as it'll ever be from now on. The studio will be much better I am sure.

I guess if Fernando has grown up around Axl, maybe the reason he such a condescending cunt is because he's seen Axl do it. The difference being, one is Axl Rose of megastar GnR fame, the other is just a cunt. But hey, we should be grateful. In 4 years of NITL we did get a 12 minute video about 6 weeks ago. But then us fans of the band complained and 'The Cunt' couldn't upload anymore for us. So there you go, it's all our fault that his masterplan of releasing live content fell after one poor attempt.

Why do people keep mentioning slash's divorce as a reason for him having to play for GnR? Didn't he put his earnings at $5m per year pre GnR, he divorced perla pre GnR reunion, he must have earned 50-60m in the 4 years of touring easy. If SMKC is bringing him in 5 mill a year, then GnR must be quadruple minimum. How expensive is this divorce!?? a few mill and a monthly allowance? The way people are talking it's as if she took his entire estimated worth and 90% of everything he earns post divorce. In reality, Slash is clearly a savvy guy when it comes to money and he wants as much of it as possible, hence he's happy to turn his back on the fans and become a footsoilder in the GnR machine.
Duff hasn't been punk for 25 years. he runs a money management firm and invests in starbucks. No one is knocking him for that, they're knocking him for basically living like a greedy wall street banker, then telling everyone he is Punk as fuck. Now he's not doing interviews and being a yes man to earn as much as possible from GnR. Again, that's fine, but it's not very punk is it?! and that hypocrisy is why people are pissed at him.

Slash butchers this I love worse than any song in history. The band are playing one song and slash is playing something completely different. The album solo is fantastic, so much passion, the Ashba solo was good. The slash version shows exactly where he is in this version of guns - there for a payday and no more.

In this book matt comes across as a simple enough guy with a very low tolerance for diva bullshit. Imagine any walk of life having to deal with people like Axl, scott weiland or even the cult. He just liked fucking as many women as he could, playing drums loud and drinking and sniffing coke. Band politics, trading on eggshells in case axl throws a strop, or letting slash get away with whatever he wanted because he's outwardly laid back doesn't sound like anything any normal person could deal with. And some of his stories are so ridiculous, they must be true You dont make up teaching sebastian bach cunnilingus in a room full of people.

The promoter at download festival just tweeted a picture of Axl's red bandana and then deleted it. It's also been leaked on someone's podcast that download are announcing their 3rd headliner tomorrow 9am UK. Coupled with the france/poland rumours and fernando interview this is starting to gain some speed.

Again, the myth that slash is in GnR to pay off his ex wife! hes earned 10s of millions more likely over $100m for this tour, they were divorced before this tour started! Slash is not poor because of his divorce!
