It's not like this is the only big event going on any time soon, FA Cup Final is a far bigger event and even the Courteeners have got 50k going to a gig at Manchester this weekend so really don't see why a GNR concert in 3 weeks time would be in any danger of being pulled unless the band wanted to, which they don't.

It'll still be a friendly relaxed atmosphere even with the army on the street (if indeed they still are)

 

Just leave your bags behind and allow plenty of time to get in with stringent searches and enjoy yourself

Yep, the quality of the ticket is shit. We should have had the option for pdf tickets and print them ourselves (which i usually never do) if they cant issue standard tickets . Would have been cheaper too.

I do recall at the time when purchased, there was no mention of Gold A or B which only appeared for the general sale. Checked my purchase history on TM which states im in Gold A

Ive got gold circle bought within 15 min of show being announced, but my ticket does not say if im in A or B, just gold circle. Anyone else with the same?

Totally agree although Ames can put the odd clanger. Their Ames Bros 1996 poster for Ireland was in my opinion the best ever. Their Yeild tour posters are worth a fortune along with some of their recent posters, NYC Kong, Pittsburgh Munk One, Wrigley Cracker Jack to name a few. Steve Thomas did a very cool one for their Boston show.

When i decided to go to the show a few weeks ago, I would have been happy with seats but for a £30 you could get gold circle.

I plan on going in to the venue reasonably early if its a dry day. Have gold circle tickets but will happily stand at the back of the area for a better view and less pushing/shoving. Will go in and out as the day goes by.

Last sealed copy went for 354usd and used copy for 235usd. Both on ebay

No one will ever pay those prices. I picked up a good 2nd hand copy on ebay a few years back for 80usd as a buy it now.

I did notice in photos of the foo fighters show at slane they seemed to be playing in daylight- maybe there's a curfew?

 

Curfew will be about 10.30 - 11. It will be bright when they come on stage and will probably be fading daylight for most of the show especially if its a sunny day. Probably be on stage at 8pm

I have all albums in some format or other (promo, original  etc) except live like a suicide. My live era is signed by dizzy bought on ebay. Also have some singles
