Your point? There has been so many articles and mentions of CD that no one will risk it anymore. Shit happens...
-
Good review. Some thing positive...
-
Doubt it. I dont think anyone works to release it anyways...

Um no.
Axl doesn't owe us shit.
He treats you just fine.
yes he doesnt owe us anything but to mislead us that the album will drop this year just to hype the tour is BS!!!
Well jesus now, what about "in a few months" back in 03' or early 04' was it? That really must have pissed you off. Or I take it you weren't a fan back then. Your one of these people who think that the world owes them everything, while infact it owes you notting...
well, theres no tour to hype back then
by the way, im a fan since 1986
The album wasn't used to hype the euro tour. Fair play if your around since then, but I thought along time fan would have more respect for the music made, and not some personal vendetta...

"It'll be out this year" my fucking arse, i slept on the streets of Dublin for these cunts and they can't even keep to their word your damn right im fucking downloading the album
Your a brave fucker, Ill give you that. Are you taking the piss?...
No, we couldn't get anywhere to stay due to Robbie Williams, Metallica and the Guns all playing that weekend not to mention the World Cup starting the same day so trying to get anywhere to stay was a nightmare. We tried everywhere but we're turned down so had to sleep outside the Bus Station until 8 in the morning, not good let me tell you
Fair fucks, The Eagles were playing as well. If I remember it was dry, for once. Dublin is not a good place to sleep at night, even in a house. Still better than Limerick. I take it your not irish?...

I'm not!
I think a CD is a piece of art. If you can get the chance to buy a picasso would you by it or just take a picture of it, print and put it on your wall?
Well a picasso? I would burn it. But your point still stands...

OR how about you pay for it like a decent person?...

Its the best thing they can do, get outta the US, back to places that haven't seen them in years. The US has gotten enough of a tour...
-
I brought my father, uncle and cousin to the concert in Dublin to show them that they were brilliant. And by god did I win that one. Axl and the boys put the fear of god in them...

Holy fuck this is one of the stupidest threads ever.
Do any of you have actual reasons for not liking Nirvana? Or do you all just hope Axl will come and give you a big hug for defending him on a subject he is most probably gotten over about 11 years ago. I'm sure Axl at least respected Nirvana, and it was pretty silly to ask Nirvana to open for them considering the success of Nevermind, a joint tour would have been a better idea.
And to anyone who said that Nirvana sucked just because of their not advanced musical ability is an idiot too. Nirvana weren't trying to be the best technical band ever, they played simplistic stuff, and that's what they wanted and did, and did it extremely well.
Nirvana brought grunge into the mainstream (arguably), because Nevermind was (and is) such a great album. Nirvana killed Guns and UYI.
Stop sucking up to Axl and open your minds to some great music. Music that changed the face of the music scene for years. Nirvana had more effect of the music scene than Guns did in recent years.
Ok, I like some Nirvana stuff. I dont like Kirk or Dave tho, they are both ignorant fucks. IMO. Never knew much about this other charactor nor do I or most other people here care. The slimplistic stuff is the reason they were so popular. Basic pop songs, notting more. Notting genius. Grunge was due anyways, Nirvana mearly were the iconic band that people could name. Metal had become redundant at that point, the only band worth listening were GNR but their music cahnged direction so much that you couldn't know what to expect. IMO, the only reason GNR have any credibility these days is because of the Illusions. If they had released AFD V2, they would have faded into the abyss. And to be honest, things have changed now, GNR are actually the alternative band and Nirvana the mainstream pop band...

I agree with the 9 points above.
*pictureing Kaneda running upstairs, laying down under his axl bedsheets and sobbing like a little girl*
I used to like Kanedas treads. During the Great Silence of 04 and 05 they gave us somethings to discuss, kept the place alive if you will. But now there redundant and pointless...
Was this thread necessary Bugger off to the concert then and quit the attention seeking. Are ypu the irish dude? I cant remember...
Too right. Don't give these fags shit, they don't deserve it. Coming on here every day bitching, then think there owed something by Axl.Damn skippy. People here seem to hate emo's soo much but they dail to realise that they are becoming the basis of what they hate...

Lycos still exists?
Thats what I was thinking, too!
Ummm. Hey, bud - Do you know you just quoted yourself?
I never reliased you could quote your self?...
The reason there so higfh is because people looking for tickets to the shows. Just cause the american public is biased cause of what the former band members have been saying for years, doesn't mean that they cant do well in Europe...

Its a good solid album. I heard it on their site. But how ever I wouldn't buy it, once was enough to listen and it seems like one I would get bored of quite quickly...
-
Nirvana were alright, a few good songs but largely boring and dull. i have how ever in the past stated my pure hatred for Kirk Cocaine. Any yes, above all other things he was a glory hog. And he forever got his place in history when he blew his brains out...

I thought the article was informative and well written. Especially the last paragraph.
What I hate with this is that U representing ME as an member of a fan forum. I think they generalized the fans a bit to much. They let your shit post represent the fans as a collective unit. Happy now?
I couldn't agree more!!! Losers like HisRoyalSweetpie give REAL GNR fans a bad name!!! I never asked to be represented by this loser.
Neither did I, but he speaks to the truth to some extent.
In what sense? Axl is making it worth every night he gets up there and plays to 1000's of fans. Fuck the album. It will be out when its ready, and from what I'v heard it will be a solid album, time will tell...

Notice how they only picked bad comments...

If this is true, we can consider this as some of the best news in years! We can consider the word "soon" as a fact. If they have set a release date, CD isn´t far away. Maby not this year, but still we´re talking about a few weeks I think. If they just give us a release date this year and keep the promiss I think most of us will forgive them, and it would kick ass if we really get it this year. It would feel like a huge bonus, though they said it would be out this year in first place
But if this is true! THIS IS IT!
This is the kind of attitude we need more of...
-
^^^ Brilliant!!...
-
Oh...right...am that was a bit over the top for me... too many questions.... so little answers...
-
This is just another PR stunt by the gunner's camp to promote the shows. (if ya wanna her the new songs, come to the shows) By saying the album has a release date, he's keeping the carrot dangling on the string, so to speak.
Baz is just cutting a promo for the tour is all he's doing.
Or how about he gave an interview about the band he is touring with?...
-
Guys Bach didn't say this. It's obvious. There's no DUDE anywhere in that sentence, it can't be him.
Priceless. You know, that is grounds to dismiss it as fake...
Dunno if this is worth posting...

I wouldn't mind seeing him live with all the reviews he is getting. Come with GNR next time there in Ireland...
