  1. I know Axl is the weak link right now but i was born in 1994 and most part of my life My favourite band weren't togheter anymore and Axl was talking shit about Slash. So i've never tought they would reunite. Maybe no one thought that. The first time i saw them togheter Slash and Axl in 2016 it blew My mind and my heart. It was too late? Could have been better? Yes. But could have been worst and we' ve seen it. So i'm gratefoul for what we got. Sorry for My English i'm from Argentina

How can Axl POSSIBLY think his rewriting of the Slither chorus melody sounds good?

Maybe not the chorus but a i enjoy his style in the verdes and i think is cool that he wanted to sing it. I mean maybe is not what we expected but at least myself since that one came out i wondered how would axl sound on it and i usted to listen mash ups all the time. So yeah like it And they didn't play it the previous shows in Argentina so i'm looking forward to hear it

    Maybe that's it.

I don't know though. I firmly believe Axl considers the remaining songs as quality. Maybe they were surprised that people didn't latch onto the "new" singles though. Personally I'd consider it a positive if they've realised people don't like those two songs and that they need to completely rethink their approach.

The only sensible (not even a remote possibility of it happening) approach is the band getting in the studio and cutting a fresh album though. Outside of hardcore CD fans nobody wants to hear Slash playing Robin Finck written songs... Even if Slash plays it with his style. I love CD and I'd have loved to have heard CD II but it's just too late. When the hardcore CD believer is saying it's too late, then it's done. It's also done because they are incapable of following through with any plans other than touring with the same group of songs year to year. It's just embarrassing at this stage.

I love ISE too, I don't need to hear it everytime I see them though. Sane with Brownstone and RQ

I need to hear ISE and Brownstone more than i need to hear Sweet child

There is a fun band in there somewhere, imagine if they kept their 5-8 biggest hits fixed and then did a shake up with the remainder night after night. Sometimes you get ISE sometimes you don't.

Gnr have no pyro cues to follow they can basically play any song at any time. As for video screens they can just shoot the band with the stage cameras if they were stuck. It doesn't need to be difficult.

The only reason for not doing a song or changing it up is the other options are too difficult for Axl to perform on the night... Sometimes this will be the case, other times that's just BS and they just want the easiest route available.

ISE it's the coolest song of their cataloge

in fairness, I dont listen to Absurd but I will say I always kind of liked the RiR version of Silkworms. That said, I would listen to both over CITR - That song does nothing for me. CD didnt age well for me. I listened to it non-stop the first couple of years. Now? maybe I will list to Chinese Democracy, TWAT, and Better

Yeah me too and Sorry maybe

Wonder why would anyone vote Come Together.

    1. It's the last stage appearance of Axl in his original voice, shape, form and face.

    2. Fact that he wasn't supposed to perform that night and yet he did a relatively good job (considering his vocals were still recovering from long touring)

Yeah and Bruce Springsteen didn't want to play until Axl asked him. great story by the way

Haha... any band from the 80's or 90's is a nostalgia act by now.
Metallica, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, they have all been touring Europe these past few months.
And even though those bands still release records, they are still nostalgia acts because they play mostly songs from 20/30/40 years ago.
Maybe Pearl Jam are the exception because they mix their setlist up quite a lot, even though they still play a lot of 90's stuff too.
GnR are still selling out stadiums in 2022. That makes them relevant in my book.

When Hardwired was released, Metallica played 5/6 songs of it in the show. The same with Death Magnetic. When they release something new, they play it heaivily.
