    Thanks @Blackstar. The pic of Axl's tree can be better analyzed in this pic. Still, very cheaply made ornaments, I'm very surprised at that. I guess his MaMa doesn't have very good taste.

    We had a vegan dinner on Christmas Eve, too. I’m vegetarian and it kind of happened and was soooo yummy. Veggie ragout and Klöße. Lol.

    The next days I ate meat though, I’m not that dogmatic. My mom always makes organic meat anyway and once a year I love it. (deer, also ragout) Today I had fish. As sweets we had lots of cookies and icebream. I planned on doing some baked apple (Bratapfel) with nuts and vanilla sauce but everyone was too stuffed already to be able to face desert. :)

    We had a crab feast for Xmas. Bibs & all. We have it every year because there are some in our family whom are Pescatarean (meaning no meat but fish). Also, Garlic baked potatoes with sour cream & corn. It warms you up in -20 below with the wind chill. Sooooo cold. Dessert was pumpkin pie with whip cream & lots & lots of Rum & eggnog.

    Cats are ornaments on the tree. I spy some Star Wars ornaments. Not being hyper - critical when I say that the tree is nothing I would expect Axl to have. It seems pretty sparse, ornament wise & cheaply made, like the red beads. Although, I doubt Axl had anything to do with decorating it, he would've left that to his MaMa.

    On the nepotism thing...I think having the famous parents can only open so many doors. If people aren’t feeling the music and records aren’t selling then I guess you can only go so far. But they are young so let them have their fun.

    I'm throwing this out because I thought it was quite interesting.

    There was an interview many many years ago with Axl, & he was talking about how he wants the band to move forward & try new things, etc....etc.... I think it was after AFD. He didn't want to be defined by that one record & wanted to put it to bed & move on. He also said that he didn't want to end up like Kiss, touring 30 yrs later playing the same old shit. He actually said that.

    I just read this a couple of weeks ago & my first thought was, um....what are you doing? It's been 30 years....you're playing the same old shit. Irony at its finest.

    Dont get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed going to the NITL concerts. Revisiting those fabulous songs, the band, the performance, but I now think I'm over it. Some of the moves are even identical to the ones Axl did 30 yrs ago, & yes I know it all seems fresh now, but I don't know for how long. 

    We've had some discussions already on this, but if they don't create new music, they will be truly the most successful reunion band in history & that's it. Watching it once or twice is great, but now I'd like to see something change.

    I'm not sure on that? I would think it's a band thing, GnR was inducted hence the members of that said band...& Axl was part of the band.

    I'm not a 100% though. I don't remember because it was so long ago.

    update: I just did a quick RRHF inquiry, & yes it is GnR that was inducted....members & all. Ditzzy & Matt are included.The largest stink was Axl attending the induction.....& we all know how that turned out.

    It's hard to tell with the shirt tied around his waist. Does anyone have a pic, sans tied shirt, of his today ass? Now, his thighs. In those tight shorts he use to wear, they left nothing to the imagination. I would always stare at his muscular thighs & legs, because for a smaller frame he was just perfect.
