Exactly. I can understand the appeal of this at least. VMAs is a short rehearsal with Buckethead wearing a goofy mask. That’s it.

From the 44 seconds I saw (leaked last year), just a normal rehearsal, Axl n co sound fine, buckets wearing a different mask.

Axl's cameo in TIL is amazing.

Thought it was just the vocals isolated 🤔 I could be wrong, stellar playing regardless

I guess I'm the only one who likes Jungle better without the intro. I thought it dragged too long and the whole thing with the "... you're gonna die" scream was too stadium rock for me.

The phones are a just a sad reality of the concert experience these days.

It's a nice change of pace, he could do with getting rid of a few screams now and again early in the set to preserve his voice.

As for phones at concerts, grateful for those that film but wouldn't do it myself. Missing out on the experience.

Today I was remembering these, and watching those "short pro shot clips".

Wow... I think we seriously need a DVD of one of those concerts. Considering Axl probably won't sing with ACDC again, that tour was a grear one-of-a-kind wonder, and Axl's voice was on point.

Agreed, the outro on FTATR from September 2nd is Axl at his best, so fucking killer

  4. Wonder if uncle axl will skip the intro jungle scream tonight? My opinion: As weird as it is it seems like a good idea, skip the jungle scream, only scream once on LALD, move better and CD dowm the set and he'd pace himself better.

Singing CD, WTTJ, BETTER, LALD during the first half of the concert is draining.  If they were spaced out a bit more the second half of their concerts wouldn't feel so slow. Regardless just my 2 cents, looking forward to any streams that pop up.

Soul Monster- Has great potential to be an awesome song; I'd love to hear a version with Axl singing on top of it, it would also be killer played live.  It's missing a big Buckethead solo too, one that rivals TWAT.
Circus Maximus- It's like a chill Silkworms.  Really curious what direction the band could go with this one, it paints a really cool soundscape like video game music.  Pretty sure this is later known as Ides of March.
D Tune- Nice and heavy, a good track for Axl to get mean with.  All the instrumentals parts are super tight, the Robin solo is nice too.  Tempted to say this is the song that led to the mythical song Seven.
Curly Shuffle- The riffs are pretty good.  Sounds like it would be a pretty fun rocker given the right vocals and a good solo.
Nothing- Kind of weird in an unsettling way?  Would love to know what Axl was going to do with this one, it sounds like he's just repeated a specific section of the song.

Thyme- Pretty interesting, I'll have to hear it alongside PRL on Disc #2 to get a context of what's happening with this one.

    Oh seven where art thou
